Had someone say to me, "I know you hate 'weight loss' but..." It's not that I "hate weight loss," it's

“But eating isn’t and shouldn’t always be about food tasting good and eating what you like.”
I’m going to agree with you on this, and here’s why 👉🏽 No you’re not always going to want to eat the food that’s available to you. (1/5) – at Brooklyn, NY

People are so excited about “nutritional psychiatry” — the possible effect of various NUTRIENTS on your mood and mental health.

As someone who has struggled with orthorexia in the past, here are some food marketing terms that can be triggering for those struggling with EDs:
• Guilt Free
• Skinny
• Clean
• Junk
• Lean
These terms also don’t communicate anything helpful about a food item.
Even when you “know” someone doesn’t struggle with their relationship to food and body...
IT IS STILL NOT OK TO COMMENT
