it's insane that people cant even explain most of the stuff they do
ive seen people do insanely detailed "deep analysis" with claude, but couldnt answer a single question about how it works
this is like when you're doing a group project in school, and you didnt contribute at all, and someone asks you a question during the presentation, and you just freeze
that will become everyone

I’ve left Anthropic after more than a year of working on Claude Code and seeing it scale larger than I ever imagined.
I have really loved working at Ant and believe deeply in the mission, and most of all, the idea of a race to the top.
The idea that if we work hard and responsibly, we can raise the bar and inspire others to great outcomes. And if we all push each other to be better, things can be radically good. I will carry the spirit of this with me forever.
My colleagues at Anthropic are the most talented, thoughtful, competent, and earnest people I have ever met. I am glad they are at the wheel and trust them deeply.
To the community on X, thank you for everything. You’ve made this the most fun (and sometimes stressful) job I’ve ever had.
For me, it is time for a bit of a break before diving into something new.

today, i was the guy that closed a short at the highs
just for price to literally crash in my favor
everything was set up for bearish price action on $ES / $SPX
i sold call spreads (bearish) when price hit the IB 25 after breaking the low
the entry was perfect, price flushed in my favor, i was happy with the trade, waiting for time decay to send it to TP
i had to step out of the house, i get out of the car, open my phone, i’m red on the trade
SPX bounced hard off the lows, i didn’t check for catalysts, i just closed the position
when you sell options, risk management is CRITICAL
i check the chart 15 minutes later...
price is back to my entry...
i closed at the worst possible spot of the day
price fell below the IB low again, and i waited for a pop and took the same trade
the thesis was still correct, SPX won’t break the IB high and will close red today
i just closed too early because i wasn’t at my screen and hate trading from my phone
i waited for another pop, sold a lower strike (selling strikes closer to current price means you collect more money)
and made back the loss and more
sloppy day today, but green on the day. not happy at all with the execution
