If you see a fella struggle, please don't scroll by. A few kind words might change a whole family's world sometimes.

In the days when it was normal for 8yo kids to just be "out" on their own for 8+ hours and it was 60p to get into the cinema and you could just STAY THERE I saw Ghostbonkers so many times.....
Here’s a story for you. We started filming without owning the title and had to do alternates. Taft Broadcasting owned the title Ghostbusters as part of their half-hour sitcom starring Larry Storch and Forrest Tucker (F-Troop) and a gorilla chasing ghosts. I had never heard of it. They didn’t have proton packs or Bill Murray. Columbia paid $500,000 to buy the name, but they really should have paid Dean Martin, from whom I first heard the term. In the film Scared Stiff (1953), he and Jerry Lewis (check out his acrobatic stair descent) are in an old haunted castle, and Lizabeth Scott asks Dean: “Who are you guys?” And Dean answers: “You’ve heard of Trustbusters and Gangbusters, we’re Ghostbusters!” For my research writing the first movie, I watched every single ‘ghost’ comedy ever made. Bowery Boys, Hope and Crosby, Abbot and Costello, Martin and Lewis all did such films. Happy Halloween 2026.

SO239 bodywork mount epoxied to the lid on a full copper covered PCB (1S), soldered to copper tape and foil, and RG58 (I know) around the hinge and out to the car roof on a waterproof PL259 full of vaseline. Every antenna is a compromise!

Someone needs to take her to a newbies half-hour at one of the clubs in Torquay to meet some people.
Since when was strangulation called ‘breath-play’?! There is absolutely nothing playful AT ALL about someone trying to strangle you while having sex, when you didn’t ask for it, didn’t consent and are scared for your life. WTAF…
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Breath play is a consensual act, and when practised properly can be done safely. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Erotic_as… healthline.com/health/healthy…

This is what happens when the right to arm bears is exercised
The chances of being killed by a landmine delivered by a bear are low, but they are never zero.

I had a new airbag fitted to the car - recall job. The tech said he wasn't allowed give me the old one, even though he thought firing it in a bucket of sqeaky balls in a dog park was fantastic. Anyway.... I need a bucket of sqeaky balls now.

Oh my, another idiot take that just won’t die. The Europeans are not funding Russia’s war. They started from a deep structural dependency on Russian energy and have made tremendous — and fast — progress on decoupling. This isn’t something you just turn off overnight. And they still contribute far more to Ukraine in aid anyway. In contrast, the US is not even remotely dependent on Russian fossil fuels and yet the Kremlin asset in the White House is easing sanctions anyway while completely shutting off aid. Contrary to the braindead takes of Trump apologists, the hypocrisy runs squarely through Washington, not Brussels.
In case you were wondering who was funding Russia's war on Ukraine, the EU is the number 1 purchaser of Russia's liquid natural gas and pipeline gas products through September 2026.energyandcleanair.org/august…

One golf trip is worth 32 humans. There you go.
Yes, under the earlier assumptions—$3.4M average from the 2019 GAO audit of four Mar-a-Lago trips and $107.5k in claimed DOGE savings per projected life—the ratio comes to about 32. The trip costs cover aircraft, boats and security from that audit; the per-life figure divides contested savings totals by model-based projections that rest on correlations and face methodological critiques.

I apologise for my braindamaged doggo friends. They are all booked in for electrotherapy, satire identification, nail clipping and either juggling or grenade handling on Friday. Thank you for your patience in this matter.
