💧🚽 Today is #WorldToiletDay, a @UN observance that raises awareness of people living without access to safely managed sanitation.
Increased access to improved sanitation facilities saves lives. A recent study shows that every 10% increase in toilets built through the Swachh Bharat (Clean India) Mission is associated with an estimated reduction of 0.9 infant deaths per 1,000 live births, scaling to 67,235 saved infant lives per year: on.cgiar.org/3ND72Jb

I am looking at the farmers staging their cold protest in Whitehall. People like those I have grown up alongside, the family farmers, the grafters, the salt of the earth. At the mercy of Steve Reed ex Lambeth Council. I despair at all the imported foods, I’m for our farmers.

Then we don’t have national security
I was with @ProfTimLang this afternoon and asked him how many days food security we have
He’s written a book about this and is respected expert. He was very clear we have…
3 DAYS
