Happy Respiratory Care Week! 🫁🩺 Thank you to all the respiratory therapists and students around the world! 🥰 For those who don’t know, I’m a registered respiratory therapist working in a NICU. 👶 I work 12-hour shifts caring for critically ill patients, managing artificial airways and equipment, giving treatments, going to deliveries and codes, and so much more. 🏥 Respiratory therapists provide expert, compassionate care to patients everyday and should be recognized more for their impact on cardiopulmonary health. We are making a difference with every breath. 😮‍💨 This is also a reminder to get your flu shots and covid boosters! Stay safe and healthy everybun. 💙
