I’ve had the honor of serving as my union’s elected co-chair since September 2023.
On May 29, Popular Democracy (@popdemoc) abruptly announced a massive restructuring, including the lay off of 21 workers, effective mid-July.
Twelve laid-off staff belong to our union, including some of Popular Democracy’s most experienced and longtime staff members.
