£10bn for Ukraine (which we borrow). Or:
• 285,000 nurses for a year
• 250,000 teachers for a year
• Every police officer in England & Wales
• 70k-100k council homes
• 15-20 new hospitals
• Fill every pothole in England twice

Had 10 Billion off us now he's on the rob in the Netherlands
Landed in the Netherlands with my team for a meeting with Prime Minister Rob Jetten. We are strengthening our partnership and working to provide greater protection for Ukraine. We will discuss defense and economic cooperation, strengthening Ukrainian air defense, and new steps to support Ukraine. A meeting with representatives of Ukrainian and Dutch businesses is also scheduled for today. I will also have an audience with King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands.
I am grateful that the Netherlands supports Ukraine and stands up for the protection of lives. We are working together to strengthen our shared security.
£10b for more bombs. No matter how little money the government say is spare, they can always find money for bombs.
Like a skint crack head looking for its fix. They always scrape together enough to feed their addiction even if they have to sell the family silver.
🚨 NEW: John Healey has announced Ukraine will receive £10bn in additional economic and military support

I earn £100 grand a year.
I have a detached house. 2 cars and my wife is a full time home maker.
I can just about afford this. I probably couldn’t afford the house I own if I was buying for the first time today.
My salary puts me in the top 5% of earners in the UK.
Top 5% to have a similar standard of living to Homer Simpson.
That is a disgrace.
We have a flatter salary distribution than Soviet Russia and the highest taxes and borrowing costs we’ve seen in generations.
Success is almost impossible because our tax system means hard work makes you a stressed out tax cow, not wealthy and certainly not free.
We need something radical.
Less state.
More family.
Less handouts.
More reward for risk.
Instead. Tomorrow, Labour will offer another batch of policies which will send one message to aspirational Brits: why bother.
I read a piece in the FT this week about the price of being middle class in Britain now and it said a couple earning £436,000 combined take home £216,000. That’s a crazy amount of tax, and it doesn't include VAT on purchases, council tax, stamp duty or other taxes (I think does include pension contributions). I can’t stop thinking about it.

Net Zero Hypocricy in one photo. My delivery of just under 400kg of coal for Winter. Country of Origin? Fine print says India, Brazil or Japan. So we banned the mining of it here in The UK but it's okay from 5000 miles away "For the Climate"? Scam. Absolute scam.

'So, Chancellor. Are you going to cut taxes, reduce red tape, shrink the bloated public sector and get the economy moving again?'
Even better than that, dear...GHERKINS!
We have it already. Even though we keep voting against it. And it’s shit.

Cheaper Marmalade….they’ll Luv that.. what about Gherkins ? Given that any thought ?
Every single thing is worse than before. We get less for more money. Lower quality products and services.
Expectations are lower. Optimism is non existent. We now expect the worst.
Government after government, all shit. Laws for us, none for the feckless.
It’s grim folks x
