sad, he’s become such a mainstream voice actor over this past few decade i don’t think any other voice actor has been able to continuously hold so many roles in recent years
Eric Bauza has sadly passed away at the age of 46, his family confirms in new Instagram post.

to think, he got his start working for john k as a (late era) spumco intern to being the second mel blanc being the official voice actor for the male looney tunes characters

what's messed up is not even a month after this episode aired, cartoon network changed their logo design and placement (and several times over the next year) so you really had to be there
Man I loved the fourth wall break in Chowder especially that Cartoon Network logo.

people are genuinely surprised that a show that looks like this is being watched by children?
had to pull a first grader aside at work for swearing and when i asked her why she was using inappropriate language she said she was “just saying what pomni said to jax” and it really took all of me not to react to that

- releases three pieces of live action media - gets cancelled because then revived because it has the closest ratings to SpongeBob - canceled theatrical film - moves its production to Canada the show that replaced fairly oddparents became fairly oddparents
‘The Loud House’ received a last-minute renewal, Jessica Borutski, the show’s head director since Season 4, confirmed on a recent podcast. Production has moved from the U.S. to Canada, with the entire production crew replaced while the voice cast remains.

this short had the perfect mix of cartoon network's signature 2000s and 2010s art styles

no surprise tbh, modern day live-action content is more versatile, has more variety in genres/age demos and is more original/less revival IP driven most animated content these days is new stuff from old IPs and is either targeted to grade schoolers or adults
Among adolescents and young adults, the demographic prefers live-action content (58%) slightly over animated content (42%). (Source: deadline.com/2026/10/teens-a…)

not to mention networks/studios are willing to dump more money and less crunch time into live-action since its quicker and cheaper

people keep saying this, but is there an actual scene from the show where she is referred to as ugly? i feel like people just keep making that up
i really dislike how victorious tried convincing us that trina was ugly cuz yes she was annoying but she was NOT ugly my eyes were glued onto her all the time

she's been referred by other characters as selfish, vain, untalented, mean and sometimes gross but never ugly

people keep saying cn real, at&t, discovery, etc. but honestly, what really kickstarted them into where they are today was in 2000 when CN moved away from being a general animation channel to a nick/disney channel competitor now they're dead with the rest of children's cable
Man, CN had such a bright future ahead of it just over half a decade ago, what HAPPENED?

if they stuck to their "TCM but for cartoons" strategy and they'd be in a way different place than they are today keep in mind during the early development of adult swim, it wasn't even going to be block, the shows would be CN originals that only aired at night (a la SGC2C)

aren't like 95% of US cable network in the same boat as well?
Nickelodeon and its sister network Cartoon Network now each have just 3 ongoing shows: Nickelodeon: • SpongeBob SquarePants • The Loud House • The Patrick Star Show Cartoon Network: • Teen Titans Go! • Regular Show: The Lost Tapes • We Baby Bears

so nickelodeon and cartoon network each now have a tie-breaking three shows currently running shows
‘Rock, Paper, Scissors’ has officially ended its run on Nickelodeon according to co-creator Josh Lehrman (2024-2026). The show ended with a rare three-season run with Lehrman hoping to expand the characters’ arcs.

to be fair leaking production material of decade(s) old media isn't really harmful and now all of these artists' work can be appreciated and preserved for years to come
the way no one is really doing any moral grandstanding on the gigaleak tells how neglected/dead CN is lol

shoutout to cartoon network japan's youtube channel that uploads nothing but full episodes of CN shows and for using the widescreen HD masters of the mid-2000's shows

another shoutout for them being pretty much the only CN channel that actually acknowledges mgpam so hard to find the widescreen version of the show (especially post-season 1)
