A look into the very cool Central Selkirk Caribou Maternity Pen project I got to be a part of earlier this year with the Arrow Lakes Caribou Society 🦌 Give it a watch to see some baby 'bou! youtu.be/2tFEd_doK0Q
I am not at #CSEE2022 but a few lab members made it. Check out their talks on Wednesday and Thursday to learn about their awesome work on @SI_Horses and BC caribou. They are also all on Twitter: @M_Stothart @anitanimals @MargarettHughes @julie_colpitts

Today's the day of the #UCalgary3MT finals! See the link below to register for the 3pm (MT) webinar, watch the contestant videos, and vote for People's Choice 🥳 grad.ucalgary.ca/my-gradskil…
Didn't think I'd ever talk about caribou research + Harry Potter in the same presentation, let alone make it to the #UCalgary3MT finals, but here we are! 🦌⚡️ Check out my video (and consider me for People's Choice!) here: survey.ucalgary.ca/jfe/form/…

We are recruiting a PDF (or PhD) @UCalgary to study adaptive variation in endangered caribou. Really cool conservation genomic project for someone interested in movement ecology, adaptive differentiation, or pedigree-free quantitative genetics in wildlife. Please share!

Come be a part of 2 awesome labs at @UCalgary! The project on endangered caribou I’m involved with for my MSc is recruiting grad students — I’m happy to answer any questions about it as well as life as a grad student in Calgary 🏔🦌
We are recruiting 2 PhD students for conservation genomic projects on endangered caribou in British Columbia (MSc and postdocs could also be considered). These are fully funded by an NSERC Alliance Grant and open to international students. Review of applicants will start Oct 15.

Come join the GPC @GlobalParasito1 as they 'host' some of the world's brightest parasitologists for the U.N. Biodiversity Conference. Between October 15-16, there will be 8 panels/presentations where you get to learn about all things parasites across the biodiversity on Earth!
“Are all parasites “gross” and bad?" 😯 "How many parasites are out there?"🤔 "Why are parasitologists so crazy about parasites?”🕵️ Visit globalpc.org or scan the QR code to register for the events for free! #parasites #biodiversity #COP15 #ecology #conservation

I will recruit 1-2 PhD students in the coming year for conservation/evolutionary genomic projects on caribou and feral horses. If you have a background in conservation genetics or long-term individual-based studies, and like the research we do, contact me to discuss opportunities
