The various #GREVIO evaluation reports clearly show how important comprehensive policies on VAW are and how much they are needed. To me this is a key component of the #IstanbulConvention and what makes it special.

Today Latvia's parliament, the Saeima, adopted a law on ratification of the Istanbul Convention, as well as a declaration that the Convention will be applied in line with the Latvian Constitution.
