25 yrs ago today I started a new job @UHBTherapy as a newly qualified physio. Didn’t think I’d still be here now! New building,a gazillion new colleagues, a pandemic &huge changes in practise. I’ve lived here longer than I’ve lived anywhere else but still a southerner at heart!

We launch our E-CPR partnership with @TVAirAmb to systematically provide ECMO to refractory out of hospital cardiac arrest. We have worked together over the past year to create and drill a robust SOP - below is a recent joint training exercise (it’s a mannequin!) @RBandH @GSTTnhs – at London, England
A pioneering partnership between Harefield Hospital and @TVAirAmb has launched today, providing advanced treatment to people who have an out-of-hospital cardiac arrest.

We’re so sad to hear that the UK’s longest surviving heart transplant patient, Steve Syer, has died.
Steve lived for over 38 years after his transplant, and we’ll remember him as an incredible champion of organ donation. bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-gl…
