The Anyone Protocol network now spans 6,000+ active relays across six continents.
Each node strengthens a decentralized #privacy layer built for everyone, everywhere.
Thank you to the operators powering this growth.

AI makes surveillance cheap: profiling, scraping, hyper-personalized phishing. All of it feeds on data tied to your identity. The cheaper the collection, the more it happens.
@AnyoneFDN routes traffic through multi-hop, decentralized relays run by independent operators. No single relay operator sees both who you are and where you go.
Not a silver bullet. It won’t stop deepfakes or protect data you share willingly. But it can reduce the data available for mass, automated targeting.
And with the Anyone SDK, developers can build that protection directly into their apps, making privacy part of the infrastructure rather than an afterthought.
Less data in. Less AI against you.

Vitalik Buterin highlighted a critical challenge for private AI agents: #privacy is essential, but latency and network-level metadata leakage remain major obstacles.
@AnyoneFDN took on the challenge, recreating his experiment using the Anyone Network instead of Tor.
The setup combines zkAPI Mainnet, private AI inference, isolated sessions, and background cover traffic.
Same concept. A different network. A compelling demonstration of the potential for better performance in private AI workflows.
As #AI agents evolve to browse, transact, and make autonomous payments, privacy must go hand in hand with performance.
Every delay matters. As agents make multiple requests, coordinate with other agents, and execute transactions autonomously, latency becomes a critical part of the user experience.
Privacy infrastructure must deliver more than anonymity. It must meet the performance demands of the agentic future.
And the $ANYONE network is built on this foundation.

The messenger that never puts you on the clearnet
AnonChat’s messages, calls, files and contacts never leave the Anyone network. They go from one hidden service to another. No exit relay, no company server, no DNS lookup on your computer.
Only three requests ever reach the regular internet:
1. Update check
Runs only when you ask. It reads the latest version from GitHub and never downloads or installs anything.
2. Relay-location database
A public IPFire file for the circuit globe, fetched at most once a day. If the network route fails, there’s no direct connection instead.
3. Apps you point at the SOCKS5 proxy
Optional, and only from your own computer. Pick an exit country or let the network choose, and browse through the Anyone network with your IP address hidden. An exit relay can see plain HTTP traffic, so use HTTPS.
Each one uses its own SOCKS credentials and its own route, refreshed at every restart.
No exit relay ever sees an AnonChat request and your browsing together. Every other connection stays inside the network.
Built on the Anyone network: independent relays run by operators worldwide, with no single company in charge. Layered encryption means no relay ever sees both who’s talking and who they’re talking to.

What does your messenger know about you?
AnonChat knows nothing. There’s no company to know it.
📅 Set your calendar: public debut on Saturday, October 31
AnonChat is a private messaging desktop app with no company in the middle. Your own copy of the app is your server, reachable only through the Anyone network.
🔹 No phone number, no email, no account. Just your .anyone address
🔹 End-to-end encrypted chats, groups of up to 10, and voice calls
🔹 All the modern chat features you’d expect: emojis and reactions, replies, voice messages, photo, video and file sharing, and disappearing messages
🔹 Your IP address stays hidden from everyone, your contacts included
🔹 No central server keeping a record of who talks to whom
🔹 See the circuits your messages and voice calls take, live on a 3D globe
🔹 Free & open source

Not all voice calls offer the same level of privacy.
On a regular messaging app, your call may be encrypted, but it still passes through the provider's central servers. That creates a single point where metadata such as who you call, when, and for how long can be observed.
On AnonChat, every call is encrypted end to end and routed through six independent relays on the Anyone Protocol. Each side builds its own path to a shared meeting point, and neither side ever learns where the other is.
The map shows the caller's half of a real call. The voice traffic enters the network through an entry guard in Ireland, which sees the caller's IP address but never the content. It is then forwarded to a relay in South Africa, and on to the meeting point in Germany. The contact reaches that same meeting point through three relays of their own. The meeting point knows neither IP address, every other relay sees only encrypted traffic passing between two neighbours, and the call is decrypted only on the recipient's device.
Covering that kind of distance while keeping a conversation natural is a real challenge. AnonChat optimized the entire voice pipeline to deliver the best possible call quality over a multi-hop path: low latency, stable audio, and resilience to network fluctuations.
Private by design. Clear by default.

Anyone Protocol’s Paid Circuits: A new layer of network economics
Anyone Protocol is preparing to introduce Paid Circuits, a major step toward connecting real network demand with sustainable operator incentives and long-term $ANYONE utility.
The model is compelling: keep the network free and open by default, while creating a premium service layer for users who need higher-priority performance.
But what really caught my attention is the potential beyond traditional users.
The same infrastructure is being designed to support #AI agents and automated systems paying for network access programmatically. As machine-to-machine activity grows, that could open up an entirely new source of demand.
This is an important step toward connecting real network usage with token utility, without sacrificing the open-access principles that make Anyone valuable in the first place.
That’s the kind of development worth paying attention to.
Bullish on the direction of Anyone Protocol.
@AnyoneFDN #DePIN #privacy #VPN
Most privacy projects treat revenue and anonymity as a trade-off, whereas Anyone treats them as the same system.
Premium income flows straight to the operators running the network, but blind-signed credentials keep that money completely separate from the traffic itself, so the exit sees a valid payment and never the person behind it.
This is how you build a network that earns and protects at once.

5 things most people still believe about Telegram that aren’t true:
❌ “My chats are encrypted.” - Default chats sit on Telegram’s servers, readable by Telegram. E2E only exists in opt-in “Secret Chats”: one-on-one, mobile only.
❌ “My groups are private.” - Groups and channels are never end-to-end encrypted. Ever.
❌ “The crypto is battle-tested.” - It’s MTProto, a homegrown protocol.
❌ “Telegram stands up to governments.” - Since 2024, its policy allows handing your IP and phone number to authorities. This week’s court filing shows it doing exactly that, voluntarily.
❌ “It’s anonymous.” - You signed up with your phone number.
Telegram can hand over your data because it has your data.
AnonChat doesn’t, because there’s nothing to break:
✅ No phone number. No account. You’re a key, not a profile.
✅ Signal-protocol E2E on every message, groups included. No opt-in.
✅ All traffic routed through Anyone Protocol onion-routing hidden services. No IP exposed.
✅ No central server. No database. Nothing to hand over. You're the server.
You can’t subpoena data that was never collected.
Stop trusting companies with your privacy. Use open-source software and infraestucture that doesn’t need your trust.

Every prompt you send an AI reveals something about you.
Now imagine millions of #AI agents acting on your behalf: calling APIs, hiring other agents, accessing data, and paying for compute.
Every action leaves a trail.
The question isn’t whether AI becomes autonomous.
It’s who gets to watch.
Anyone Protocol is building decentralized #privacy infrastructure. Traffic is onion-routed through relays operated by independent participants, helping separate the knowledge of who is connecting from where they’re going.
Here’s why that matters for the AI economy:
▫️ Services
AI depends on APIs, cloud infrastructure, and constant communication. That traffic can expose metadata about usage and behavior.
Privacy-preserving routing could help reduce that exposure. In the future, .anyone hidden services could offer another way to make AI services reachable without publicly revealing their network location.
▫️ Agents
An AI agent's activity can reveal its owner's intentions: what they're researching, which services they use, and when they act.
Private network routing could help reduce those signals. Anyone isn't an AI agent platform, but its infrastructure and SDK could give developers a privacy layer to build on.
▫️ Payments
Tomorrow's agents may pay for API calls, compute, data, and services without human intervention at every step.
Anyone Protocol already incentivizes relay operators with $ANYONE tokens. Combining private connectivity with autonomous machine-to-machine payments is a potential direction for future development, not a built-in payment feature.
▫️ Protection against AI threats
AI can turn seemingly harmless metadata into detailed behavioral profiles.
Reducing metadata exposure can make that surveillance harder. A decentralized relay network can also reduce dependence on a single infrastructure provider, although it cannot eliminate every censorship or security risk.
The bigger picture?
AI needs more than intelligence. It needs infrastructure that lets agents communicate, access services, and eventually transact without exposing every detail of their activity.
That's where decentralized privacy networks could become increasingly important.
AI makes autonomy possible. Anyone makes privacy yours.
