i've won 18 hackathons to date with $25000 in solana grizzly, $4000 akashathon, $2900 chainlink and a couple of $1000.
most of them during my third year of engineering.
although i loved doing them alone since that gave me the most end-to-end experience building fullstack projects, there was even a month when my roommate and i won 3 out of 4 hackathons.
for the past year, i've shifted my interest away from this game, barely tried 3 and won them all.
here's what you can do:
> skip looking for teammates
> start trying before you feel ready (there are always active hackathons)
> when feeling out of ideas, look into idea directories (superteam, alliance etc.)
> stalk past hackathons from the current host and see who won to learn judges' preferences
also, if you're someone just getting started - you can always hit me a dm
Things to do while your agents are writing code to avoid being dumber
1. Read a great book
2. Learn some core technical subjects
3. Play chess
4. Play harmonica
5. Spin up another agent
one claude session is great. four repos, multiple sessions, and parallel work is where things get messy.
as a session gets longer, it starts filling up with code, logs, retries, and context.
two sessions working on the same repo step on each other, so most work ends up running sequentially. a fresh session retries the same local run failures without knowing what already failed.
i shipped shiploop, a harness for claude code where an advisor breaks work into tasks and sends them to the right-sized workers.
you just give it a multi-repo project.
- n parallel agents in git worktrees
- failure traces are shared so agents don't repeat each other's mistakes
- related tasks share exploration instead of rediscovering the same things
- context persists across sessions, failures and learnings carry forward

Apache 2.0, no signup, no API keys beyond what Claude Code already has:
/plugin marketplace add anshss/shiploop
/plugin install shiploop@shiploop

"Hello world" is about 2 tokens.
The model outputs one token at a time.
To produce each token, it runs its math over all 16 GB of weights (for Llama 3 8B which is 16GB in size).
Then it adds that token to the input and does it again, for every token in the reply.
they want to invest in AI, but their associates come from finance backgrounds and don't understand how kernel optimization, reducing GPU time, or scaling to zero actually helps a startup.
how do you explain electricity to a caveman?
applying to jobs is soon gonna become an ultimate ai slop war
- freshers using ai toolings to apply for jobs.
- recruiters using ai toolings to scan applications.
it's very underrated and i don't know why people don't do it.
if you're in college right now and have some skills in tech/or anything, just start teaching other on @fiverr
this also improves your own understanding.
i used to teach blockchain back in 2022.
i was working on improving seo past two months
few hours every week
now the impressions have moved from 214/month to 40k/month
so apparently someone signed up on aquanode today.
exploited referral system.
ran crypto mining.
i noticed a balance drain after a few hours on one of our providers without a payment, and blocked him out.
