Lowkey hoping I get invited to a Diwali party this year since I am in Delhi. The last time I was at one, was 5 years ago. Every single person in that friend group is now an NRI. Life’s changed a lot. Not sure what I feel about it all.

Experimented and made chicken biryani this afternoon. It may not be ‘authentic’ but it tasted too good. And I was impressed with my first attempt! Had it for lunch and dinner today. There is more left for tomorrow 😬 Bhai, I have been impressing myself with my cooking lately.

Did chest-shoulder workout two days in a row. My shoulder’s sore. Like really sore. Barely slept last night. Was in so much pain, I could not even turn around in bed. Need to be more careful for these first few days. The body’s not at all used to working out.

Now that I’m back in #Delhi full-time after 4.5 years, there is gym access again. Rejoined #Cult yesterday, and realised 2 things: 1. The mountain life made me very unfit 2. Had missed seeing fit, posh eye-candy South Delhi men. That’s motivating enough to be regular at gym 😅

Touched raw chicken meat for the first time (I never knew it’s sooo tender 🥺), marinated it, cooked it. Didn’t turn out like mom’s chicken curry at home, but it still tasted awesome. Life skill unlocked. Now I can impress future foreign friends with it 😅

Has anyone here been to or heard of the Mangystau region of #Kazakhstan? Google and see the landscapes. Found out about this last night and am so tempted to book a tour, even though they are so expensive as compared to the very budget-friendly Almaty region.

Been sleeping at 5 AM and waking up at noon. Should I try NOT sleeping one day- would it actually fix my sleep schedule? Only if I can stop myself from getting in bed for an enticing afternoon nap. 😴🤣

Please recommend some nice chill cafes in Vasant Vihar / SDA / Green Park / Hauz Khas areas. Delhi feels very different every time I visit now with new places opening everywhere and I feel lost. 😂

Where do I rent a decent 1BHK in #SouthDelhi in about 20k? So difficult to find one. Want to avoid the unauthorised colonies and stay in a decent location, close to metro. The brokers I’ve spoken to have been such scammers! 😒 I might eventually have to flat share again!

A very blank state of mind as I take this solo train ride to Delhi. It was supposed to be with family for a journey that I had dreamt for years. All got canned because some first-world idiot thought I wasn’t worthy enough. Now I have no clue what’s next in life.

Had my book launch here in 2024. And met friends here in July while I was in the city. Just two visits, but the closure makes me sad. This place has memories.
