Such a mess. I think there is an argument for a manager before a manager such is the difference in tools we have mid season and how we want United to play. I've never seen as many problems in front of me as that Como game, especially with so many people culpable.
Michael Carrick, Jason Wilcox and Omar Berrada are all at Carrington this morning. Talks taking place over Carrick's future and what comes next #mufc

I personally think there is an Amorim style season needed if you want to move United on quicker. Not popular I know, but that difference in tools and the style we are seeking is massive.

More gaslighting. The evidence of yesterday was completely the opposite.
There’s bound to be the pantomime abuse at games (City fans would do it if reversed) but it does feel there’s sympathy and support at a growing number of clubs. AFC, LFC & MUFC fans will continue to abuse anyone who supports City’s view of course but they don’t speak for all.

exactly what i said. all those ST holders fucked off who would be there come rain or shine. what a mistake it was to pick a needless battle with loyal supporters.
What a satisfying picture. Those are Ratcliffe’s ‘big hitter’ seats that are empty. The £399 ‘ticket + 1 beer token’ seats. They can’t sell them, the well is running dry. Off you fuck.

Since 2005 Premier League clubs have had a total interest cost on borrowings and financial debt of £3.5bn. One club and one set of owners is responsible for 35% of the total. #Glazernomics Figures per @valuball

Would like to have seen Cunha on the left and Tielemans or Mount benched. Just looks a bit slow.

I like the look of this Razullah playing for Pakistan. Hopefully plays many games for them rather than focusing on franchises like the Northern Hula Hoops.

Elon Musk spreads disinformation about Ukraine after being exposed for sabotaging military operations by the WSJ. The US tax funded billionaire, Trump's largest donor, (backed by Israel and Russia); tied to the deaths of thousands of children due to USAid cuts, blames Ukraine for not surrendering.

I think there’s a tipping point coming in the not-too-distant future when match-going fans simply call it a day. Speaking to a lot of people recently, there’s a growing sense of disconnect between the club and its supporters, particularly after the way fans were treated over the summer. The feeling is becoming increasingly widespread, and I think the club risks underestimating just how much that relationship is deteriorating.
All the chaos at United starts and ends with the ownership. We all know this. Everything in between - the standards dropping, the football falling apart, the culture eroding - has just been the inevitable fallout. Until that changes, nothing will.

We play like a lower division side in the cup. Every game. It's so bad.

We have no tourists, but we also have the highest legitimate revenue in world football. Which is it.
City don’t have an army of football tourists to occupy every empty seat when locals don’t go like the other big PL clubs. UCL group stage prices have nearly doubled in the last few years, wages have not. No football fans should be attacking other fans for taking a night off.

I imagine there are many advantages to supporters in their club having a smaller core following, and City have a good hardcore. None of this syncs with the sportswashing gaslighting though on many fronts though, including playing to the rules as other clubs. It never has.

Support Carrick going back to.basics and tightening up the midfield, but felt another forward (Cunha) was needed on the hour yesterday. Overall, thought it was a bit too negative.

Most semi-competent teams know how to take advantage of an extra man. But it takes a modicum of intelligence to understand that and sadly we know our owners, execs, coaches and players are thick as mince.

I'm somewhat surprised by the likes of Santos and Tielemans getting criticised. Don't think they played badly at all. As for our business in the summer, I don't particularly have a problem with any of our incomings. The issue is that there weren't more of them

Mental this. Actually working for Russia.
Last night, Ukraine 🇺🇦 suffered from a large restriction access to Starlink, which speed was limited to 160km/h and later to 70km/h This action taken by Elon Musk or the Pentagon 🇺🇸 puts an end to mid-range strikes against Russian 🇷🇺 logistics in occupied territories and to the interception of Russian Geran-2/4/5 drones by interceptors. Long-range strikes remain unaffected, as they do not rely on Starlink, and the same applies to FPV strikes. Nevertheless, this is a free boost for the Kremlin, handed to them on a silver platter by the United States. For several days, Ukraine has been observing a ceasefire regarding Russian energy targets, whereas Russia has not, having struck at least 26 targets overnight. It will take a few hours for an official reaction from the United States to emerge. This move sets a serious precedent that will influence the decision of many states regarding the use of Starlink, in Europe and Asia, since the US don't seem to be a reliable partener anymore at all.

I had the feeling it May that we were at a real crossroads between pushing on and sacking another manager before Christmas. Some things i cant blame the club for, but others are just so needless. Kicking off with supporters and even avoiding cheap cover at LB/CF absolutely daft.

One day, international cricketers will realise that throwing themselves headlong into advertising hoardings in a doomed bid to save one run when over 300 behind is not noble commitment to the cause but really fucking stupid. Today is not that day.
