Teenager admits to multiple terror offences in court Damian Woolfenden, eighteen, appeared at the Old Bailey today by video link where he pleaded guilty to twelve charges including publishing material intended to stir up racial hatred against Jews, and disseminating the contents of a terrorist publication. These included sharing the live-streamed video of the 2019 Christchurch attacker Brenton Tarrant on White Pilled TV, a self-described “Pro-White Platform.” It has reportedly since been viewed 1,000 times. Mr Woolfenden was also found to have posted the manifesto of Norwegian far-right terrorist Anders Breivik, who murdered 77 people in 2011, to a Telegram group. He also admitted to possessing the manifestos of US white supremacist mass shooter Payton Gendron and German neo-Nazi synagogue shooter Stephan Balliet, as well as a firearms guide, on his computer. He is expected to be sentenced at Manchester Crown Court on 4th December. thejc.com/news/uk/white-supr…

CAA was pleased to join the important Jewish Doctors Conference in London, where we presented recommendations on fighting antisemitism in healthcare. The Conference helped foster community ties within the healthcare sector, and discussed the growing problem of anti-Jewish racism in the NHS. Our recent documentary on antisemitism in the NHS – which you can watch at antisemitism.org/NHS – exposes the scale of the extremist rhetoric seen among healthcare practitioners, and its impact on the Jewish community. jewishnews.co.uk/second-jewi…

We are grateful to Education Secretary @LucyMPowell for accepting all 27 of Sir David Bell’s recommendations on fighting anti-Jewish racism in our schools, and acknowledging that combating antisemitism is a “generational challenge.”

Shadow Education Secretary @LauraTrottMP spoke in Parliament about the horrendous impact that antisemitism has on Jewish pupils and their parents, who are “left with an impossible choice between sending their children to mainstream schools where Jewish pupils are heckled, bullied and singled out, and sending them to Jewish schools with prison-like security, under constant threat from outside.”

For the Liberal Democrats, @MuniraWilson talked about the impact that antisemitism has had on young people in her constituency. “When I met children and young people who attend Richmond Synagogue, they told me about their horrendous experiences of bullying, both physical and verbal, at school and university. Most of them are having to hide their faith. No one in this country should have to hide their faith.”

BBC lets guest complain about MPs “letting some foreign country pull the strings”, without pushback. This is some conspiracy-laden language from Irvine Welsh, who on BBC 2’s Politics Live appeared to imply that the UK’s proscription of Palestine Action was engineered by the extraordinary powers of, presumably, the Jewish state. The BBC presenter probably doesn't call him out because the Corporation thinks the notion that Israel controls our MPs, which is what is implied in this exchange, is a legitimate and reasonable point of view, rather than the racism it actually is. This is a classic trope, and the BBC is either blind to this hate or happy to platform it.

Student conferences should educate, not indoctrinate. The National Student Conference for Palestine, which will be held next week, is reportedly being run by the Palestinian Youth Movement. CAA has previously raised concerns about the group, footage from whose summer camp showed children being encouraged to chant “We will crush Zionism” and “Young people, rise up, our revolution is an Arab revolution.” According to @MetroUK, the group is said to have associations with the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, an organisation which is a proscribed terror group in several Western countries as well as the EU. It has also been sanctioned by the UK. These alleged links are deeply worrying. Is it not possible to advocate for ‘Palestine’ without a whiff of antisemitic terrorism? If it isn’t, that tells you something. 89% of British Jews think that the authorities are not doing enough to tackle political extremism, according to our polling. Universities should pay close heed to how their students may be flirting with extremism. metro.co.uk/2026/10/22/fears…

In the past, Jewish people were told they cannot live in this country. After all, Britain wasn’t their home: Israel was. Now Jewish people are told they can’t move to Israel, because that's not their home either. Antisemites don’t want Jewish people living here or there. Plenty don't want them living at all.

Funny how so many far-left ‘anti-racists’ who passionately declare themselves opposed to antisemitism in all its forms always immediately try to undermine every attempt to fight antisemitism.

“What is essentially an anti-democratic, violent hate movement is taking one of the most iconic emblems of one of the most solemn days and is now trying to hijack it – it’s absolutely nauseating.” CAA’s Director of Investigations and Enforcement, Stephen Silverman, speaks to TalkTV on the BBC’s “refreshing” stance on banning the ‘Palestine poppy’ in its upcoming Remembrance Day coverage. @SSilvUK

The BBC has reportedly launched an investigation into one of its employees, who is said to have shown support for Sally Rooney following reports that her publisher, Faber, will no longer sell her books in the UK due to her alleged support for Palestine Action. Megha Mohan, who works for the BBC as their gender and identity correspondent, reportedly signed an open letter along with over 140 notable figures in support of Ms Rooney. Those amongst the signatories include extremist Northern Irish activist and rap group Kneecap, and disgraced pundit Gary Lineker – who left the BBC after sharing a post about Zionism featuring a rat. Ms Mohan is reportedly being investigated over whether, in signing the letter, she has potentially breached the BBC’s impartiality guidelines. This is a refreshing stance from the BBC, an organisation at the helm of recent controversies relating to coverage of matters of Jewish interest, on top of its historical record. telegraph.co.uk/news/2026/10…

Is it appropriate for modern politicians to invoke Nazi persecution of Jews in 1930s Germany to push their agenda? In a Welsh Parliament debate on full-face coverings, Deputy First Minister Sioned Williams made reference to the Nuremberg Laws. Ms Williams said “Jewish people of 1930s Germany were subject to the Nuremberg laws that stated they were no longer German, laws that led to their persecution and extermination by the state that stripped them of their German-ness, enabled by those who believed German-ness could not accommodate diversity.” So, what were the Nuremberg Laws? • Antisemitic statutes enacted by Nazi Germany to ostracise Jews and achieve an imagined racial purification of Aryan society. • The Law for Protection of German Blood and German Honour prohibited marriages and extramarital intercourse between Jews and ethnic Germans, and forbade employment of German women under 45 years old in Jewish households. • The Reich Citizenship law stripped Jews of their German citizenship and classed them as “enemies of the race-based state”. • On 14th November 1935 a supplementary decree was passed defining who was Jewish. They were implemented by the Nazi regime, who would go on to slaughter six million Jews in the Holocaust. Using the horrendous persecution of Jews to score political points does nothing to improve the standard of debate or tackle hatred in society. All politicians have a duty to speak responsibly, especially when antisemitism is rampant across Britain. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cmd7…

“Problems here at home are no more obvious than in schools. If our schools are highly politicised, highly radicalised, then that is the kind of country that is going to continue to roll off the deep end.” CAA Chief Executive @GideonFalter discusses the implications of Sir David Bell’s much-awaited report on antisemitism in schools with @CharlieRowley18 at Talk TV.

Sir David Bell’s significant report on antisemitism in schools showcases what Jewish children are going through in this country. British schools have utterly failed in their duty of care to protect their Jewish pupils and educate their peers not to hate Jews, while Jewish schools are burdened with security responsibilities on top of education. The Jewish community already knows all this, but it's vital that the country starts to understand the gravity of what is happening. It’s not just the victims who matter but the perpetrators, who are the future citizens and leaders of this country – and their teachers. No doubt politicians will emerge to wishfully insist – contrary to the evidence – that ‘there is no place for antisemitism in our schools’. But of course there is – there is lots of it. David Bell has shown that. The discussion must now turn to why. Pupils are being radicalised online, at home and even in the classroom, often with the blessing of callous, agenda-driven teachers’ unions obsessed with demonising the Jewish state and anyone who dares identify with it, as naturally most Jews do. Sir David’s recommendations are a first step to tackle this abominable development in British education, and we welcome the adoption or mirroring of many recommendations that we made to the review. The Government, relevant bodies and schools must urgently move on to implementation – before it’s too late.
Sir David Bell has published his much-anticipated report. • One in five young people have witnessed or experienced antisemitism • Almost three in five Jewish youngsters have done so, as have many teachers • This includes stereotypes, jokes and derogatory comments in social spaces, classrooms and online • Pupils and students are the most common perpetrators • Children don’t bother reporting incidents because they don’t believe they will be addressed • Teachers report high levels of workplace antisemitism and inadequate organisational responses • This problem has been growing for a decade, reaching high levels since October 2023 • Teachers and administrators think they know more about antisemitism and how to tackle it than they actually do • There is no consistent system-wide reference point for identifying and responding to antisemitism, and while awareness of the International (IHRA) Definition of Antisemitism is high, few use it in practice • Antisemitism is not always recognised as a form of harm that may raise safeguarding concerns, and victims often don’t get the support they need • Pupils at Jewish schools often experience or fear antisemitic abuse while travelling, leading some to conceal visible signs of their Jewish identity • School leaders in Jewish schools carry significant additional safeguarding and security responsibilities, creating substantial workload, wellbeing and workforce pressures assets.publishing.service.go…

A sickening insult to the memory of Sir David Amess and our nation’s values Five years after @Conservatives MP Sir David was murdered by a supporter of Islamic State, people have been filmed spitting in the face of his statue in Southend. The clips were shared on social media by a Palestine activist calling himself “Angry Jesus”, who reportedly denies being one of those who spat. This is an insult not just to Sir David’s legacy, but to our country and the democratic process. He was killed while carrying out his responsibilities as an MP – meeting constituents at his surgery. That his memorial is being targeted by Palestine fanatics is just the latest way in which they show their hatred for Britain and our values. telegraph.co.uk/news/2026/10…
