Jayson Tatum just hit another game-winner.
Since 1996-97, no other player has a higher FG% on shots to tie or take the lead in the final 24 seconds of a game. (min 60 FGA)

Also important to note here, the Vico phenomenon wasn't just borne out of nothing, it was painstaking grassroots organizing from previous defeats, such as Ka Ric's, that pushed the momentum that Vico harnessed and built upon.
Most of the networks of cadres that comprised of Ka Ric's campaign were former activists, community organizers, and former factory unionists (from the pasig factory belt of C5), eventually helped Vico in 2019 (tho some were too old and frail by then, still showed solidarity).
Ric Reyes' Mayoral run against the Eusebio dynasty, 2010
Ka Ric's a controversial figure of the PH Left (iykyk). But his run sure planted the seeds for the eventual downfall of the dynasty a decade later with the Vico in 2019 (he's been heading Vico's housing office since then)
Posting this because i just randomly saw this upon searching for other stuff, the byline mentions Lula, Evo Morales etc...
And he ran under Liberal party while being a member of Akbayan back then.
Awesome stuff, and a great political time capsule of sorts

Forming a coalition with the current administration is the only viable strategy to block another Duterte presidency. A hard spill to swallow for the far-left.
"Forming a coalition with Marcos admin is the only way"
meanwhile the house allocation of budget looks like this. Hard fucking pill to swallow huh

Seeing this more on fb than Twitter, so this is your reminder that the House version of the budget added billions of pesos to various DPWH offices in certain congress districts, more than what DPWH actually asked for

John Wall says he still texts his mother every morning and night and has continued to pay her phone bill to keep her number active since she passed away in 2019
“I made sure I paid the bill for that for the rest of the time I’m going to be on this earth, so I can send my daily text in the morning and my daily text at night”
“It helps me. I know she can’t respond, but I can still send my messages and know that nobody else has her number. And sometimes you have your moments when you just sitting at home and you just reflect”
“And I always look at pictures and reflect. My display screen on my phone is my first game against the Sixers, and we win the game and I give her a hug, and I always keep that as my bio picture”
