My biggest problem is that I’m interested in too many things.
For example, right now I have an idea for a new world, format and style, and it’s a completely different direction from what this page is about. The real problem is that tomorrow I’ll come up with a third idea that doesn’t fit either of them.
I don’t think a page where every post is completely unrelated can work with any social media algorithm.
But if I start a new page for every new direction, I’ll end up with hundreds of abandoned ones.
I believe in this idea.
The GenHQ Social Feed is live 🎉
Post your work today. Get discovered. Get hired
genhq.io/
What’s new:
→ Share your work and projects on the discovery feed
→ Follow, like, comment, share and message creatives
→ Hire someone straight from their post
→ Companies: invite creatives to your open jobs from the feed
→ New posts section on your profile (projects can stay private if you prefer)
Jobs and talent are still on the homepage. The feed is where your latest work lives. The more you post, the more you’re seen.
It’s version 1, so please do tell us what you'd like to see integrated to help you get discovered.
I’ve hated school for as long as I can remember. Even as a kid I complained that it felt like a prison and was completely useless.
Still, I finished all of it, all the way to a CS degree, hoping it would eventually make sense. It never did. I was already working in IT long before I graduated. All it did was waste years of my time and my health. And all it still does is turn kids’ dreams into nothing. It kills their creativity, their character, and their freedom of thought, and turns them into slaves for a world that no longer exists.
We’re decades late on this. Once the internet arrived, school should have evolved drastically, but it never changed at all. As a kid I promised myself I’d change the school system one day, but by graduation I just wanted to forget about it completely and it's been years since then.
Now I’m seeing people who aren’t fighting the system or fixing it. They’re reinventing it from scratch thanks to AI. I think this is the start of a new world.
It will ofc create a huge gap between people who adapt and people who don’t. That’s uncomfortable, but it’s part of how we move forward.
