The Third High-Level Plenary (#HLP3 ) session of India & Sustainability Standards 2023 (#ISS2023), held on November 6, 2023, at India Habitat Centre, brought together eminent professionals and scholars to share their thoughts on the session title, 'Collaborative Cotton Futures: ACRE's Regenerative Agriculture Initiative in India' co hosted by ACRE, @Centre4RespBiz , @AsiaSolidaridad , @regenagri_org , The session focused on highlighting the urgency of transitioning to #sustainable and #regenerativecotton farming practices in India. The Discussion was based First, on the role of brands, suppliers, and other actors. Second, Underlined the importance of collaboration between #textile and cotton #valuechain actors in facilitating this transition. Third, the role of the stakeholder platform in promoting this transition – what could be learned from other platforms/initiatives.
