Ozu Castle's keep was rebuilt in 2004, without blueprints, using Edo-period methods and 300-year-old timber. Not being a designated cultural property is what makes the overnight stay legal.
A historical dinner and kagura, up to 6 guests. About 30% of stay revenue goes back to preserving cultural assets and kagura.
