At its special session on 26 October 2026 in Geneva, the Board emphasised that the transformation must protect people and communities living with, at risk of, and affected by HIV, while safeguarding the progress made in the global AIDS response.
The UNAIDS Programme Coordinating Board has reaffirmed its support for a continued, streamlined, and strengthened UNAIDS Joint Programme, rejecting the proposal to sunset UNAIDS.

🤩 The event also featured the National Final Performance Awards, performances by people with intellectual disabilities alongside Drag Queens, a team dance showcase, and a fine art fashion photography exhibition celebrating identity, confidence, and potential.
One of the highlights was a panel discussion featuring Midnight alongside partner organisations on developing diverse communities and preparing for WorldPride. The discussion explored community development, inclusion, collaboration, and creating more opportunities for everyone
💫 Since 2017, Down Syndrome Hero Thailand has created inclusive spaces through art, fashion, photography, music, dance, and performance, empowering people with Down syndrome to express themselves, showcase their abilities, and share their dreams with society.
Midnight and Bobo joined “APID a Little Dream — A Little Dream of Down Syndrome,” an inspiring event organised by Down Syndrome Hero Thailand and Khun Surachai Saengsuwan to celebrate the talents, creativity, and potential of people with intellectual disabilities, on 3 October.
