Now seems rain- flood- disasters… time is over. Let’s prepare for post monsoon stuble burning leading to smog (?)
There are issues with such cloudburst disasters. Firstly dynamics is though known but can’t be captured in dynamical models if someone thinks for early forecast. Second urban setting s are not so planned in such regions. Thirdly and importantly how to minimised with early warning
Cloudburst leading to disasters. Hamlets built close to rivulets, Bala’s, are natural direct threat. Historically villages were made far away from river and or rivulets. Traditional knowledge not considered.
