APE is also on FB (apegames), Insta (ape.games), Bluesky (apegames.bsky.social) and Threads (ape.games). I use @buffer for interacting with socials, and I can only have a limited number of socials through that app, I'll not be posting on X as much.
Going to Essen Spiel? Stop by the APE Games booth at 4H-120 to check out Pampero's upcoming new expansion Project Verne which delves into the green hydrogen initiative. Learn more about Project Verne on our @Kickstarter pre-launch page here. buff.ly/u1QlDFX.
Pampero's season 2 expansion is called Project Verne, named after the global green hydrogen initiative.
You can learn more about Pampero: Project Verne on our project site and sign up to be notified of the Kickstarter launch (sometime in November) here. pampero.apegames.com.
The wait for Whale Riders is over! Head to Amazon, or the APE Games website to get your copy. Right now, shipping is charged, but we're sending games to Amazon for free Prime shipping. buff.ly/ObYBDsx
I went to the Green Lake, WI fair as I saw it was sponsored by fellow publisher @riograndegames. That's weird, I thought, since RGG is in AZ and Green Lake has a population of <1000 people. I'm glad I went, the RGG table was giving away free games to everyone! Plenty of titles.
My very, very good friend and confidant for the past decade, Harvey, shuffled off this mortal coil a few weeks back. One of the highlights of Harvey's later years was #thefarmersdog dog food. To my joy and surprise, they sent this #livelyroot plant to express their condolence!
There's still one day left to check out Shrine: Duel of Light - the fast-paced, tactical 2-player duel powered by LED lighting, on #Kickstarter. This one is by our friend and designer Richárd Ámann (Trickerion, Perseverence). buff.ly/X3qCZ8i
Voting has opened for the Board Game Revolution best game of 2024 awards. It would mean a LOT to Julián and me if you would vote for Pampero for the best game and/or best heavy game! Click the big Community Choice graphic at the top of the page. buff.ly/2hOxAUQ
Reiner Knizia's Whale Riders games will be hitting port in the US this week, but you can still pledge for your copy with free shipping on Kickstarter, here - buff.ly/kCUZgd8
We're down to the last day for Reiner Knizia's Whale Riders on @Kickstarter. The game will available in the post-project pledge manager, but at a slightly increased price. buff.ly/PkDUvtm
AI art Q: Say we make a game and pay artists for 100's of pieces. The game also supports 1000's of unique-in-the-world items created programmatically after the game's release. Is AI art on these items better than NO art or reusing art from existing items?
Going to @UKGamesExpo 2025? We'll have a limited number of Reiner Knizia's Whale Riders, Julián Pombo's Pampero, and Martin Wallace's Chaos Cove at the show, but you can pre-order now to avoid the rush. buff.ly/zSHn4vx buff.ly/PVquN8y buff.ly/xpybgmr

People who know me know I vastly prefer written reviews of games over videos. So I was happy to give Jonathan at GeekDad a pre-production copy of Whale Riders to play. It's a very good write-up with excellent photo work.

Whale Riders by @ReinerKnizia is now live on @Kickstarter! Get a great price and free shipping while helping us defray tariff costs shipping them to the US! buff.ly/XCK2SUa
Whale Riders by @ReinerKnizia is in CN awaiting shipping. Our idea to offset tariffs is a @Kickstarter for both Whale Riders games together at one low price and FREE SHIPPING. You get the games at a great price and we get $$ to pay tariffs!
