Loved this response from @UAB_FB DB Jo’Tavion Pierce in Thursday’s postgame presser. This is Birmingham’s Team and it’s time for the community to recognize that. There is nothing but appreciation shown from the team to the community and it’s time for the community to reciprocate.

Thank you to @MattBarrie and @ChaseDaniel for coming out to Protective Stadium tonight!
Things have changed a bit since the last time @UAB_FB went into B1G territory.
Excited to get a new season started tonight!
Two years ago today, I started working for UAB Athletics, and what a journey it has been! I'm so grateful to work for the school I've grown up around and for all the opportunities this job has given me. I am looking forward to everything year three has in store!
Proud of both of my teams for being featured in this week’s CBASE NET rankings, which factors both winning percentage and strength of schedule.
UAB ranked 25th in the Mid-Major category.
Johnson ranked 5th nationally in the NAIA.

The 20th Opening Day of my lifetime, my sixth in college baseball, and my second outside the white lines. Excited for another season of @UAB_Baseball!
The moment the @BhamBarons won back-to-back Southern League Championships! #WinnersWin
Less than ideal situation we’re in…

I’m grateful to announce that I’ve accepted a promotion to Assistant Director of Communications for UAB Athletics! I’ll continue working with @UAB_Baseball, @UAB_TF_XC, as well as Secondary Contact for @UAB_FB.
Go Blazers!
I’m thankful for my first season with @UAB_Baseball and I’m truly grateful for each of the players and coaches and the joy they brought me day in and day out during this season of change in my life.
‘Til next time ✌🏻
