This guy is the most spineless and unintelligent politician I've seen in years. Lula is already 81 — this is clearly his last election. You got 48% of the vote. Four years from now, you'd obviously have a strong shot at winning. And yet this guy chose to flee to the United States, unwilling to stay in Brazil and fight for his future in court using his 48% support base and his majority in Congress — unwilling to take even the slightest risk. A total coward. Clearly no Brazilian will ever vote for him again. He ended what could have been a very promising political career in the most gutless way possible. This guy is a complete and utter coward. And do you think fleeing to America makes you safe? Once Brazil's Supreme Court hands down a guilty verdict, do you really think America will definitely shelter you? Even if Trump protects you, what happens when Trump's term ends and the Democrats come to power? The Democrats have always had good relations with the Brazilian government. Your father didn't get much support from America during Biden's term, and neither will you. What's more, by fleeing to the US, you've completely lost the support of your base in Brazil — which will only significantly increase the probability of your conviction, and you've also lost whatever value you had to the Americans. Americans couldn't care less about a loser like you. For Brazil as a country, it's truly fortunate that a guy like this didn't win. As for the other 48% of Brazilians, they need to reflect on why they voted for someone with such low intelligence and so little courage. By comparison, the Philippines' Duterte has a hundred times more courage than this guy. Also, I've noticed that in many small and medium-sized countries, the leaders the US backs are mostly cowards like this. And the fact that so-called democracy nearly let this kind of specimen become the leader of a major country once again demonstrates the enormous flaws of this system.
