I am so excited announce that @BesteverAI has been acquired by @samba_tv!
We acquired @besteverai, the AI platform built for advertisers. Samba welcomes the Bestever AI team, including founder and CEO @appyg99, who joins as Director of Product leading our AI strategy. Every adtech company is racing to hand campaign management to AI agents. Our contrarian bet: the agents that win will be built on deep, first-party signals. Samba understands audience behavior at scale, including how 1.5 billion opted-in users watch TV and what they consume online. With this acquisition, we're turning that deterministic data into autonomous agents for brands and agencies. Samba is thrilled to have Apoorva and team building what's next with us. 🚀 hubs.ly/Q04mbhNp0

Many founders forget that valuation isn’t just vanity—it motivates teams. A wise ex-founder noted today at dinner that every midsize-co CEO in the Valley wants teams to work like the labs, but B2B SaaS valuations haven’t moved in years. Especially in cities like SF, your love doesn’t pay bills! Either manage your expectations or make the numbers go brrr!

What's admirable about American politics is that the feedback loop is efficient and swift. Imagine an admin getting such a clear PIP in < 2yrs! A lot of companies are not even that fast. Go USA!

For most of us, "I will start investing next month" has become a way of life. I've been building products long enough to know that when people put off something that's innately good for them, it's not because of a lack of information. We have held back because of friction. Investment today requires scrambling through too many steps and processing too much jargon. As a result, most of us even hesitate to talk about investing. @sipseapp is our humble effort to clear all of that away so that taking the first step feels as easy as saving. At some point, we’ll realize that Americans don’t want a far-left or far-right country. We’re a nation filled with people who are desperately looking for sensible leaders in a broken political system. And the GOP did the opposite of what nearly every voter wanted. Thus, this.

Like body-cams exposed criminals, social media is exposing how many Americans have been displaced by foreigners. It’s everywhere and far worse than any of us could imagine.

There was a period in time where I’d just go to the grocery store, buy groceries, bag them up and go home. In the last few years I’d buy groceries, check the receipt for surprises. Lately the only surprising thing is how expensive basics are. That’s why Republicans are losing.

Basically, the Iran War was a catastrophic mistake, and the Trump administration prioritized theatrics in immigration policy alongside brazen corruption. The tariffs also hurt Americans badly. This entire administration has been so mismanaged and Trump is not a good president. If the GOP nominated DeSamtis we would have competent conservatism running the government and not nearly as polarizing.
What model of the American electorate has Texas voting for a guy who says God is trans? Someone steelman this for me. I’m having trouble getting there.

Every month or so, I go on a long 7-10 mile urban hike on a sunny day. I try to do it in whatever city I’m in. My favorite cities for this are San Francisco, followed by Rome, Paris and finally New York. In SF you just have miles and miles of pacific coast with gorgeous views not encumbered by tourists. It’s by far the best (imo)!

Revenues from the .ai domain registration account for roughly 47% of Anguilla’s GDP, putting it nearly on par with or surpassing tourism as the island’s primary economic pillar. Now that's an AI boom!

This year, I’ve smelled more cigarette smoke on the streets of San Francisco than I have in the last 10+ yrs. I would say it’s a top signal. Youth having a little edge, taking a little risk is what makes life exciting. Hope they eventually kick it, but until then, let it rip!

What’s the difference between dots & ChatGPT chat? In fact, what’s the difference between chat & cowork? They all seem to be melding into each other. It makes no sense to the user & it’s the classic symptom of shipping the org structure.

There would be less resentment of successful nerds if basic education didn’t cost an arm and a leg. Society would be more equal if young people could study linguistics or other non-lucrative topics without accruing crippling debt.
