NEW TESTNET ALPHA. @QMSnetwork testnet is now live. QMS is an EVM-compatible L1 built for the post-quantum era, with both consensus and finality designed to be post-quantum secure from block 0. i went through the whole testnet using a fresh wallet. here’s a step-by-step guide to do the same ↓ 1.add QMS testnet you can use Rabby, MetaMask or any wallet that supports custom EVM networks. network: QMS Testnet RPC: rpc.testnet.qms.finance chain ID: 19480 symbol: QMS explorer: testnet.qmsscan.io i’d recommend using a fresh wallet/account specifically for testnets. 2.get test QMS faucet: faucet.testnet.qms.finance/ paste your wallet address and request tokens. each request gives you 10 test QMS and you can request up to 4 times per 24h. remember these are testnet tokens with no real value. also keep some QMS in your wallet for gas. 3. make your first swap on QWAP go to: testnet.qwap.xyz/ connect your wallet and make sure you're on QMS Testnet. i swapped some QMS → USDC. approve if needed and confirm the transaction. you can verify everything afterwards on: testnet.qmsscan.io/ 4. add liquidity after the swap, head to: Explore → Pools choose a pool where you already have both assets. i used WQMS/USDC. click New Position, enter the amounts, approve the tokens and confirm the transaction. once completed, your LP should appear under Portfolio. 5.verify everything onchain paste your wallet address into: testnet.qmsscan.io/ you'll be able to see your testnet transactions including swaps and liquidity activity. what makes QMS interesting to me is that it isn't trying to retrofit post-quantum security onto an existing chain. it's being built around it from day one while remaining EVM-compatible, so the existing Ethereum wallet + Solidity ecosystem can still work with it. QWAP is also already live as the first DEX on the network, so there's actually something to interact with during the first public testnet. i've attached proof of my own testnet interactions below.
