Trump trashes Fox News on Fox News and even takes a personal shot at Bret Baier.
Baier tried to push back, but Trump wasn’t having it.
BAIER: “Candidate quality, do you have regrets about Ken Paxton or Darlene Graham?”
TRUMP: “I had no choice. Ken Paxton, he’s a good guy, and I just wasn’t a fan of Cornyn. I just wasn’t a fan. I found him to be a disloyal guy. He was not a fan of mine.”
“You know, to be honest, when it wasn’t fashionable, he wasn’t there. You could say that about a lot of people. I could say that ABOUT YOU.”
[Baier lets out an audible exhale]
TRUMP: “When it wasn’t fashionable to be with Trump, he [Cornyn] wasn’t there. When it was fashionable, he kissed my ass, all right?”
“The Fox polls are terrible. You ought to get yourself a good pollster, because your pollster is the worst.”
BAIER: “But tonight actually the results are pretty close to what the Fox polls showed.”
TRUMP: “I don’t know about that. I can just say, speaking for myself, the results with Fox with me were wrong for 12 years. They have gotten me wrong for 12 years, but I don’t care. It doesn’t matter.”
Trump says he will accept tonight’s election results and work with Democrats if they’re willing to work with him.
