I am interested in the connection with the Venetian painter G.B. Piazzetta, whose sfumato and chiaroscuro I greatly admire; they inspire me in the production of sound and its infinite possible inflections #historicalviolin

A rare etching and burin engraving by the Dutch artist Jan Miense Molenaer (Haarlem, c. 1610–1668), depicting musicians and a drinker in a tavern/brothel. It warns the viewer against the dangers of drunkenness, frivolous music in bad company, lust and frequenting brothels.
