very jealous of people who don’t have a constant negative internal monologue going on in their head

When Alexis MacAllister scored against Tottenham in April 2025 and the reaction from the crowd literally nearly caused a minor earthquake, it was indeed far less exciting than us posing a vague threat against Arsenal and almost causing their goalkeeper to have to make a save
Whatever the result, those 30 minutes after their goal is the most exciting football I’ve seen at Anfield since Klopp.

It's worth remembering no other Western or European country has officially established a nationwide "Islamophobia Awareness Month" on a state government level...Only the UK is stupid enough to do this.
This Islamophobia Awareness Month, we must shine a light on the abhorrent hatred and discrimination Muslims continue to face. In the last year alone, religious hate crimes targeting Muslims rose by 15% in England and Wales. This is utterly unacceptable. London will always stand against hatred, prejudice and discrimination.

Feel like I’ve suddenly turned on Iraola but have people forgotten Szoboszlai basically going to the media and complaining about playing right back.. even shading Steven Gerrard too and the manager backed down? So today Mr Equaliser Munoz had to play RB.. just weak as fuck

The problem a lot of Liverpool fans aren’t grasping is that you all think it’s still 2012 and we’re a sleeping giant. We won the league 18 months ago. You can’t spend £350m on 3 players and then say it’s a work in progress or a project. They won’t perform for him

There’s rumours that Barcola was obsessed with us and would only leave Paris for Liverpool. You think Wirtz & Isak sign if we don’t win the league in 24/25? You can’t hire a project manager from Bournemouth and then be surprised he can’t get a tune out of these attackers

I’m sure probably deep down even the likes of Allison and Virgil are thinking they deserve more after the journies they’ve been on here. FSG have convinced people footy is about rebuilds etc with sell to buy. it’s not. It’s building on success year by year. Now we’re short 🤷‍♂️

Episode 4 of this city is ours… was alright up to then but fuck me it’s jumped the shark now big time. It’s like the accents are getting worse as the season goes on

Imagine one of our midfielders getting into the position Rice is in here. Absolutely zero patterns of play
Somehow Alisson is getting blamed while Van Dijk's chance to clear the ball is being ignored.

It’s just abysmal. It’s mildly better than Slot last year. I don’t think people are grasping how bad a result this is. Losing to City at home after the week they had was hard enough to understand but this is next level. This is like a Time Machine to 10-15 years ago. It’s so poor

Not sure why people have a problem with this? I couldn’t stand Slot and he had to be sacked but it’s demonstrably true? We don’t create chances, Anfield has lost its fear factor, the table doesn’t lie either. Might not be a backwards step but it’s definitely a sideways one 👍

No idea why people are saying Nyoni had to stay on. He’s a kid playing more minutes than he’s ever played, the issue was who replaced him. Just put Gravenberch on, Szoboszlai is a completely different profile. And he’s a crab

Can’t wait for the Olympics next summer me. Hopefully Mo Farah & Anthony Joshua bring home the gold for us
Forget the result we absolutely slaughtered them today. Yet another disgraceful refereeing performance and gifted them a goal but really pleased and proud of that performance!

Iraola been here 5 months and yet to have a big moment on or off the pitch. Would be surprised if we ever win anything of note under him. Losing at home to City & then Arsenal is catastrophic whatever way you look at it. He’s an underdog and Liverpool isn’t an underdog place/city

Anfield is dead. This time in 2012 even Brendan Rodgers had a chant. We were champions of England, Europe and the world under a decade ago. We won the league 18 months ago. We’ve now decided to just become underdogs. We’ve got 3 nearly 4 £100m players ffs

Not even about being right or clever or anything it’s just pattern recognition from following the same institution for this long. I was saying the same about Szoboszlai when he was getting POTY and now everyone can see how poor he is. There’s being LFC and there’s not being LFC

Type of result and performance where you just want to have a fight. Need to go and find a midget or a child

We won the league 18 months ago. Yet here we are, the underdogs again for absolutely zero reason 😅I hope Bezos & Bhatia get full control & bring their own people in. Been left short on the field & then hired another PL project underdog manager. Anfield losses to City & Arsenal🤮

He’s only been able to beat Brighton at home in the league as a Liverpool manager. Scraped through on pens against Chelsea the other night when we should have lost. VILLAREAL went 2-0 up at Anfield. You’re all kidding yourselves he’s s Liverpool manager
