1/ I want to tell you how I started building an app in my 20s without knowing how to code — and what the process actually looked like. I’ve been building it for ~10 months.👇

24/ If there’s one thing I’d tell anyone starting this journey: Don’t increase your own workload just because you technically can. I made that mistake. Day after day, I worked more. Then more. Then more. Until eventually, I started losing touch with reality.👇

25/ My entire life became this project. And I didn’t realize how much damage I was doing to myself. Maybe that’s actually why I started writing this. Because I finally realized it. 26/ The bottom line is: For the first time in my life, I took something I started and kept going for 10 months. Every single day. I actually finished something. And I’m incredibly happy, proud and fulfilled because of that. 27/ But I’m not going to romanticize it. It was extremely hard. I’m not exaggerating when I say that for a single feature, I spent 45–60 days trying again and again. 20–30 attempts. Deleting everything. Starting from scratch. Trying a completely different approach. Over and over. 28/ It was brutal. But it also built something in me that I didn’t have before: Discipline. Patience. Consistency. The ability to keep going when the excitement is gone. And honestly, that might be the most valuable thing I got out of this entire process. 29/ Now there’s still a very long road ahead. Even though I feel exhausted and completely full from this process, I’m going to keep going. I’ll work again. I’ll probably work even more. And even though I complain about it, I’m genuinely happy to be doing it. 30/ I just hope I can keep going without giving up.
