Goldman Sachs estimates:
Customs union: around +1% GDP
Single Market: around +2–5% GDP
The OBR estimates Brexit itself has reduced Britain’s potential productivity by 4%.
And the really interesting part is that I nvestors are starting to sit up and pay attention.
This is why the argument that reopening Britain’s relationship with Europe simply creates another “dust cloud of uncertainty” gets it backwards.
Brexit created barriers, uncertainty and lost investment.
Undoing Brexit is the biggest pro-growth reform available to Britain.
Fixing Brexit may turn out to be Burnham’s growth strategy. 🇬🇧🇪🇺

The New York Times reports the administration is reviewing sanctions relief for Russia's state-controlled investment fund.
Treasury sanctioned it in 2022 over its ties to the Kremlin.
Now its chief executive is involved in U.S.-Russia negotiations.
The administration says the review could help end the war in Ukraine.
But no specific Russian concession has been reported.

Mark Kelly's been a top target of Donald Trump and Pete Hegseth ever since he told our troops it's okay to refuse illegal orders. First, they tried to indict him and send him to jail. Then, Hegseth tried to strip his rank and take away his pension after 25 years of service in the Navy. Now it could go all the way to the Supreme Court.

Shame on our country — silence is complicit. And fuck off MAGA — Pretti was filming colleagues who were being harassed by untrained ICE thugs who were unleashed on the community by Trump. When the agents didn’t like being filmed, they used force — he was disarmed a legal concealed weapon he NEVER drew — and had 10 rounds pumped into him. Why not just one round right between the eyes? Why waste nine good bullets when you could’ve taken him out with one? He was absolutely defenseless and already on the ground where they got him in position for execution. Alex Pretti's father: Our son was shot and killed by the government, federal immigration agents, on January 24th, 2026. We learned about his death from the media as we saw him being shot repeatedly in the back after helping a woman from his community. This was not a protest that Alex was at. His hands were in the air, and his face was on the ground when he was executed by ICE agents. We know exactly what our eyes saw. No one from the federal government called us on that day.
