In complete awe of Indian Muslims. They should be celebrated for their exemplary handling of the constant attacks and their resilience.

And anybody objecting to this disgusting deal with the contractor will be called anti- Maharashtra/ urban naxal.
Zero sense of aesthetics for the city, the regime is not even leaving the sea to loot every bit of Mumbai that they can.
Infact, the number of LED screens put up with their insane brightness at night, should be reduced.
But the regime belongs to those who can buy them out, not to the people!

India’s most powerful cronies exploit a dysfunctional legal system, weaponizing defamation laws to shield themselves from scrutiny and suppress free speech. When the law protects the powerful from uncomfortable truths, one must ask: Is India’s entire legal system rigged?
BJP is marching against itself to save democracy?
Of course there are no designated sites for them. Fair treatment to all would be democracy. And BJP doesn’t believe in it.

Another miracle from the 🪷🪷🪷!
You can protest in the Capital waving flags and *not* be jailed for seven days!
No detention buses, no Dilli Dekho rounds of remote thanas, no mobs waiting to welcome protesters with a light thrashing, and no lathi charges/ savage beatings by the cops!
And this protest has zero political agenda.
None whatsoever. It spontaneously generated itself in the streets of Delhi, receiving immense love from the city's chambers of trade and industry, who feel this is the right way to kick off Diwali shopping. 💚
Truly the dawn of a new democratic era. We are blessed. 😇
He gamed the system to capture power. That’s why he’s so scared. Even though he controls everything. He doesn’t believe in winning. He believes in control. He wants to control people, the country, the narrative.

After years of gloom in the shadow of Donald Trump, Narendra Modi, Jair Bolsonaro, and others of their ilk, progressives and liberals around the world are finding cause to celebrate. On Monday, Brazil’s President, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, defeated the far-right challenger, Flávio Bolsonaro, in his country’s Presidential runoff. Between Lula’s victory and events earlier this year in Hungary, where the long-ruling nationalist Prime Minister Viktor Orbán was ousted in elections, the White House has lost two hugely symbolic allies in its broader right-wing global culture war. No clear winner has yet emerged in the Israeli election, in which Trump had endorsed Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and which saw a historic turnout of Arab voters. And the U.S. President may be humbled further in next week’s midterms, as Democrats eye taking both the House and the Senate.
At the same time, protests have broken out across the world. People have taken to the streets in India, France, Belgium, Spain, Albania, and Italy; among their demands are access to affordable housing, job opportunities for young people, relief from the cost of living, and greater investment in schools. “There’s no simple narrative bringing together all the separate uprisings,” Ishaan Tharoor writes. But across the world, on the streets and at the ballot box, the right-wing movement is facing a backlash. Read Tharoor’s latest column: newyorkermag.visitlink.me/-a…

How long will you stay silent? Until they own you?
Indian business is not Modi and Shah's plaything. You lack courage. We don't. We will ensure justice for these crimes.

📺 “We reported events one-sidedly for years”: Serbian TV apologizes to viewers after Vučić's party loses the election
Radio Television of Vojvodina (RTV) opened its news broadcast with footage of celebrations following the Student List's election victory — scenes it had failed to show the previous evening.
“For years, we failed to fulfill our duty. We kept silent, turned a blind eye, reported events one-sidedly, and failed to ask the necessary questions. For that, we owe our viewers an apology,” news anchor Goran Eror said.
Following the controversy, RTV's acting editor-in-chief Nenad Čačić resigned.
A similar incident occurred in Hungary, where state television also apologized to viewers after Viktor Orbán's election defeat.

We at The Reporters Collective @reporters_co, a tiny non-profit newsroom, stood up to defend journalism against govt attempt to paralyse the profession through a Trojan horse in the Privacy law. We filed a case before the Supreme Court in February 2026 and launchedwww.rti404.com, a watchdog project to protect RTI and journalism, both.
Months later the for- profit big media businesses have realised, not just journalism but revenue of their media business would be hurt too by what the govt is doing.
Personally, I am glad they have eventually seen value in joining us.

EXCLUSIVE: India’s biggest news publishers including Ambani's Network18, Adani's NDTV, Indian Express, Times Internet & others mount the most high-profile challenge yet to Modi’s privacy law, warning it would “render investigative journalism a benign and neutered recorder of events.”
DNPA (@publishers_news) has taken the law to the Supreme Court. They argue it would trample investigative work and let New Delhi identify journalists’ sources.
The provisions “constitute pre-censorship which is anathema to any democracy worth its name,” the group’s 698-page filing says.
The key concerns:
🔹 Consent: requiring a journalist to notify the subject of an investigation and seek consent “would allow that subject to destroy evidence, intimidate witnesses”
🔹 Erasure: people can withdraw consent and demand their data be erased, which the group says could force publishers to unpublish or heavily redact news reports
🔹 Sources: a “nakedly unguided” power to demand information that “can extend to privileged communications in possession of a reporter or the informant”
In a letter to the government, the group said India “has chosen to grant broad exemptions to the state, while failing to extend any corresponding protection to the press.”

This analysis clinically rips apart everything that the ECI has claimed in its affidavit. If the CJI read this and isn't beholden to the ruling regime, Gyanesh and gang would be charged for perjury for filing this affidavit.
