The ordinal market’s been quiet, and I found myself spending more time trading perps ☠️ (something I never planned to get so deep into) Well yesterday, I was fully liquidated Lost everything And today’s my birthday Not how I pictured celebrating, but maybe it’s fitting A full reset When I first discovered bitcoin, it wasn’t about trading at all. I was just curious. Spending late nights reading bitcointalk threads, scrolling the r/bitcoin subreddit, trying to grasp this radicial vision of freedom through code But somewhere along the line, things changed I started spending more time on crypto twitter. The screenshots, the massive PNLs, the rush of leverage and altcoins. It’s intoxicating I got pulled into that current and lost sight of why I came here in the first place. And honestly, I think many of us have felt that drift A space that was created around independence and self-sovereignty feels different now. There’s way more focus on profit and institutional validation. Those were not things that drew me in, yet at some point I found myself chasing them too Anyway, hard lesson learned: chasing charts over purpose can cost more than money, it can cost your sense of self
