John Harbaugh: "How about Micah McFadden?" 10 tackles for Micah, and here's what he told me this week about the challenge of stepping up into a role for which he waited patiently: northjersey.com/story/sports…

My postgame question to @jjmccarthyy18 about championship endings and new beginnings

Remarkable win for the 4-2-1 Giants. Skattebo 100-yard game Nabers 100-yard game, his fourth in a row Malachi Fields breakout All Faithfuls on defense today And J.J. McCarthy was really, really good. Guess these coaches knew what they were doing when they called this team out.

Could've been a cramp for Skattebo, but either way, the defenders were closing on him.

Cam Skattebo just broke a long run in overtime and dropped at the 30-yard line. Looks like he may have pulled a hamstring.

Giants get a three and out. Here come J.J. McCarthy and the offense.

Giants won the coin toss and will kick to begin OT.

And we're going to overtime in Houston

Tie game in Houston. 52 seconds left. Giants have one timeout left. Stroud to Hutchinson and the PAT.

Texans were looking to throw that to C.J. Stroud. Great awareness by Kayvon Thibodeaux to drop and cover Stroud.

Or not. Texans brought a unique look and come up with a sack. Giants will punt.

If there ever were a time for J.J. McCarthy to break off a keeper the way the Texans have been crashing the pocket, it's now on third down.

Loud "Let's go Giants" chants break out here in Houston after that failed third down play by the Texans, leading to a punt with 6:45 left.

Dalton Schultz called for a hold on Arvell Reese that sprung that long run, now called back.

Skattebo broke two tackles through a lot of contact on the way to the end zone and fought off a third attempt.

Cam Skattebo touchdown and the Giants are back on top with 8:55 to go

No fumble and TD return for Giants. Woody Marks was down by contact, per official instant review. Tackle by McFadden, loss of 4. Giants decline penalty for illegal shift. Marks comes off slowly with training staff.

Stroud sneak for 2 yards, first down

Looked like Houston got the first down, but officials mark it no gain. Virtual measurement on fourth down. Still short. Texans keep the offense on the field.

What a defensive stop by Giants on previous series. Deonte Banks preventing Nico Collins from crossing the sticks, big hit from Micah McFadden as assist to prevent Texans from getting first. Thought Houston might go for it on fourth and 1, but Ryans sends out the punt team.
