Pretty cool
i went to bed and asked claude to paint an autumn tree overnight.
at around 4am, it realised that it didn't have some shades -- so it stopped and titrated its own paint: diluting red, sienna and madder step by step on a second palette, then measuring each pocket from a photo.
woke up to this beautiful watercolor painting. 303 brush marks, took about 4.5 hours 🍂 (still working on the speed)

I’ve heard several OAI people say there are unfixable bugs in hardware that are exploitable by AI models directly speaking machine code so even if we could solve software that’s not enough. We need defense to move faster than offense if that’s even possible we may just have a new normal that requires adapting to insecure software (bank transfers require going into a branch and taking a dna test 🤣😬)

People are dunking on this but it’s actually a good thing. This is tech abundance. It’s an indication that luxury tech is trickling down to the masses. Instead of spending millions on a custom-made smart house you’ll soon be able to have your own modular reasonably priced version

.@markpinc's best advice for founders: life is too short to struggle:
"From a product standpoint, when something works, everything works."
"It's not this feeling of pushing a rock up a hill."
"It's not this feeling of, 'Ugh, this is really hard.'"
"You're better off not struggling, but spending 10 years trying to get to your lightning in a bottle, and then have it just all work magically, than 10 years pushing up a rock up a hill."
Most likely has to do with visibility and safety. When I switch to red light throughout my apartment at night, I clearly have less clarity and visibility
These lights usually turn on during take off, landing, and dining
During flight they are dimmer but still provide visibility
GTA cover art is so nostalgic. Was seared into my innocent 6 year old mind as a symbol of something impossible for me to attain…
I remember watching kids at summer camp play on their PSP’s just praying to get a turn.
Decades later and I still feel that childlike excitement 😂

They have a fairly specific target audience for their content though… so marketing any and all apps with their current theme is questionable.
Of course they could deviate from that theme, but who knows what they’ll do.
For those that don't understand, Cluely is now:
-Making and buying apps quickly (skincare, fitness, whatever. inherently viral/easy to market apps)
-Using their existing network of UGCs through the Cluely Mobile App to market these apps at crazy low CPMs
This is extremely smart. For an operator very good at managing UGCs this makes perfect sense. At least more sense than pushing a clear cut B2B sales tool on regular consumers.
The path to 1B is clear. Keep going Roy.
