this pretty much summarizes my second round of covid (thank goodness I’m vaxxed and boosted, otherwise I’m sure it would be far worse)
A fun activity this year has been letting Frankie try new foods (after googling to make sure they’re cat friendly of course). Turns out she’s a soup fiend. Tomato is her fave, but she will settle for vegetable if necessary. This is what my lunch time looks like every day.
Hi is everyone aware that persimmons are INCREDIBLE?? I’ve just eaten my first perfectly ripe one and wtf how did I go 27 years without these.
My cat just waltzed up to me and chomped my ponytail like it was a Very Normal thing to do, and I’m wondering if all the time we’ve spent together this year has actually brought us TOO close...
On weekend mornings, my bf and I like to watch tours of expensive homes on YouTube and I always end up cracking up at the absurdity of them. “Now we’ve entered the private Japanese wellness spa” like oh yeah of course we have, no house is complete without one.
“The walls are alpaca” is an actual thing the realtor said in one video, and I feel like that’s a sentence maybe no one else has ever said before
Here are some pictures from this morning’s walk about- very cool purple berries, a cute little ginkgo tree, a cat I befriended, and (perhaps most importantly) a chunky squirrel eating an acorn atop a motorcycle. Enjoy.
