📣 Excited to announce our new manuscript published in Translational Psychiatry investigating socioeconomic disadvantage & maternal inflammatory biomarkers during pregnancy in relation to neonatal white matter microstructure🧠

In #eLABE @wunder_lab, we found that while average pregnancy levels of maternal IL-6 & IL-10 were associated with variations in neonatal WM microstructure, average pregnancy levels of maternal TNF-α uniquely interacted with family SES to predict fronto-limbic WM diffusivity.

We’ve parcellated the neonatal cortical surface based on abrupt changes in functional connectivity, resulting in a set of 283 highly homogenous cortical surface parcels in a sample of n=261 neonates.
