I want to be more intentional with building new friendships. My problem is I’m very comfortable with my small social bubble, so I don’t really apply / keep up the effort required to foster new connections… People say making friends in adulthood is hard, and I know it’s because of people like me 🤦🏾‍♀️

First born daughters become thoughtful women who do all the work alone but share the credit. They’re the women who buy people gifts then say “it’s from all of us” when handing it over. When nobody else bothered to buy a card, they’ll sign theirs to include everyone else’s name.
