Under the leadership of Modi Ji, India embarks on a new journey to emerge as a global hub for container manufacturing, with the Union Cabinet’s approval of the ₹10,000 crore Container Manufacturing Promotion Scheme. The initiative optimises government resources and incentivises industry to increase indigenous manufacturing tenfold, thereby creating massive employment opportunities.

A mega textile spinning mill is coming up in Odisha, with work progressing rapidly. It is expected to create 6,000+ direct jobs.
The textile and apparel sector generate large-scale employment, particularly for women, with relatively low capital investment.
A spinning mill converts raw cotton or other fibres into yarn - a crucial first step in the textile value chain before garment manufacturing.
Sportking India is investing Rs 1,000 crore in this greenfield manufacturing unit in Khordha.

Please take all the cows from irresponsible owners and give to responsible owners.

We were in Poland. While Travelling to Warsaw from Berlin on a train we encounter two Chinese students came on student exchange program.
Me and my friend Karthik, from a Tamilnadu were talking in English.
They thought we are talking in English just because we are with them.
They were surprised to know that English is only common language among us.

Submitted a detailed representation to Hon'ble PM Shri @narendramodi Ji requesting to sanction projects under the landmark Container Manufacturing Promotion Scheme (₹10,000 Cr) & Khelo India Sports Goods Manufacturing Scheme (₹1,856 Cr) for Berhampur, Odisha.
With Gopalpur Port & twin-port coastal access, extensive 300+ acre industrial land bank, and abundant local steel & skilled manpower, Berhampur is ideally suited to become a national manufacturing hub!

India (Paradip Port) 🤝 Korea
Why should global shipbuilders like HD Hyundai look at Odisha?
• Shipbuilding cluster: National Shipbuilding & Heavy Industries Park in Kendrapara has received in-principle approval under the Centre’s Shipbuilding Development Scheme.
• Paradip: A designated Mega Port, now with 18.5m deep-draft capability and further capacity expansion underway.
• Metal ecosystem: Odisha already has 45.5 MTPA steel capacity, with major expansions planned across the state, a natural advantage for shipbuilding supply chains.
• L&T is coming: ₹1,000 Cr shipbuilding & ship-repair complex approved in Ganjam, alongside a ₹2,100 Cr advanced fabrication complex.
• Industrial ecosystem: Steel, aluminium, fabrication, ports, rail connectivity and a large engineering workforce, all within one state.
For companies like HD Hyundai, Odisha offers the ingredients to build not just ships, but a shipbuilding ecosystem.

Must watch. 👍🏼
I’m always amazed by Subroto Bagchi’s talks.
Here he is in Bengaluru, sharing how Odisha’s World Skill Center was born from a failed idea.
He also recalls how Singapore’s President visited WSC in Bhubaneswar, and how PM Modi met an Odia girl among 40 Odisha students interning in Singapore.
What a journey for Odisha!
PS: Subroto Bagchi served Odisha for 7 years as Chairman of the Odisha Skill Development Authority (2016-2023), with a token salary of just Rs 1 per year.

This is an example of naysayer.
I think we should focus on efficient facilitation, value addition rather than just a place of digging.
If we don’t move on the value chain, we would always be a labourer.
If you look at HDFC scandal, the recent chairman exit, few states colluded to relax procedures, bend rules to grant home loans with 5 percent down payment, where the rule says 20 percent down payments.
Today there is one company created - Llyods Metal - Tatas assigning this third party to mine.
Third parties were assigned when there are issues, grave incidents of graft.
The stock of Llyods Metal has gone up from 2000 crore to 1 lakh crore.
Company without paying any money, now has acquired shares of Triveni Metal, slurry pipe lines across Odisha.
The fortune of OMC is being snatched by a company based out of Mumbai.
I know everything. The same company is also associated with mine work in Maharashtra Tata Steel, JSW Steel.
Read annual reports of Llyods metal to know more. Once captive mines would be allowed to sell just like in Coal, in the best interest of the nation OMC business will jeopardise.
Urgent attention here please. 🙏

One outrage I see is over the speculated NALCO proposal for an aluminium plant in Andhra Pradesh using bauxite from Odisha.
We protest when plants go outside Odisha, and we also protest when they come to Odisha.
Look at AP. They wholeheartedly welcome industries. But in Odisha, AC-room activists complain about the environment, water, and everything else.
Either we welcome industries or go back to farming(with ହଳ ଲଙ୍ଗଳ). We cannot just keep complaining about everything.
Can we create a Japanese SEZ in Gopalpur and Paradip where we already have Japanese companies - ACME, JFE

Bullet-train corridors. Automotive plants. Heavy manufacturing.🚄🏭
$5.71 billion in a single quarter. A potential ₹8–10 lakh crore follow-through. ✨️💱
Their clear ask: “We don’t want tax concessions. We want tax predictability.”
Tokyo’s biggest manufacturing and rail bet yet for India in underway. And what it will take to lock it in:
• Beyond portfolio churn:
Led by Mitsubishi corporate adviser Ken Kobayashi with senior leadership from Honda and Mizuho, this is patient, balance-sheet capital aimed at core industrial capacity: mega manufacturing hubs, automotive expansions, and next-gen high-speed rail corridors (Delhi–Varanasi and Varanasi–Siliguri).
In Q1 FY27 Japan quietly overtook Singapore and the US to become India’s largest FDI source at $5.71 billion, nearly 29% of total equity inflows.
• Tax predictability over concessions:
The 32-member JCCI delegation was unambiguous. They are not seeking special subsidies or carve-outs. They want regulatory consistency, retrospective tax certainty, and rapid administrative clearances.
Global capital can price commercial risk. It flees bureaucratic ambiguity.
• The phased monetisation formula:
A practical takeaway for mega-infrastructure: Japanese leadership pushed for sequential phases so commercial operations can start early instead of waiting for full-line completion.
This de-risks financing, unlocks intermediate cash flows, and makes ₹2 lakh crore+ projects bankable.
• The deep-tier skill chokepoint
The delegation flagged a critical gap: India’s shortage of high-precision technical manpower in advanced manufacturing.
Activating the India-Japan Human Resource Exchange Action Plan to train 500,000 personnel over five years is the missing bridge between capital intent and shop-floor execution.
Patient Japanese capital is the ultimate sovereign hedge against volatile global flows.
Converting intent into plants requires speed, contract sanctity, and deep technical capability.
