I am not Anti AI. I am not Pro AI.
My thesis is simple -- Like EVERY technology before it, it will have benefits that will remove friction, and when you remove friction, your skills atrophy.
And we can't let that happen. We have to supplement the skills people will lose.
We talk about wanting support, but what most of us really want is to be the person someone comes to when they need help. And I worry we will lose that as AI does more and more for us.
More on that in this week's Reckonings.

Queen has always performed better against these slow, plodding, traditional bigs. Good, smart teams always put a big wing on him if/when they need to slow him down
He will take off when he learns how to regularly take advantage of that matchup
The customers in the Reckonings memory game have modifications to their orders. Naturally. You have to keep those straight along with who ordered what. Give it a try if you want your memory to have something more interesting to do.

I AGREE that Herb should have finished regulation. His defense would have closed it out.
HOWEVER, all they needed was one bucket in 5 possessions to seal it. That should be the bigger concern IMO. What are you running late in close games to get a bucket?

A lot of people talking about MPJ.... the guy I'd go after is Dillon Brooks.
You hate that type of guy, until he is on your team. Give Pels another defender who can hit 3's and make it so Herb doesn't always have to take the hardest assignment every minute he is in the game
Imagine that team last night with Dejounte taking the McGowens/Mathurin minutes off the bench, Missi spotting Karlo and taking the Watford minutes, and Poole waving the towel like only he can do!
The Bad News: Jeremiah Fears had a really poor game last night
The Good News: Pelicans Twitter has 36 hours before the next game to figure out why it was Dejounte Murray's fault
Before the season, I predicted Zion would make the All Star game, and that was an All Star performance. The scoring is always nice, but seven defensive rebounds (and 11 overall) is what pushes him into the AS tier, if he keeps that up
I think that is most impressive about that win was that Fears was really, really bad but due to a mandate that he has to play, he got a lot of minutes and the Pelicans were able to win any way
9-0 run to end regulation and send the game into overtime, where you know the Pelicans will lose.
Different coach, but everything stays the same. These guys just don't know how to win, and there is no evidence to say that they will ever learn.
9 point lead with 1:50 left. Grizz go on 7-0 run and now its a two point lead with 36 seconds left. Can the Pelicans finally close out one?
Fears really had a chance there to put in the dagger. Hope that miss doesn't come back to bite them in another competitive, clutch situation game
You see how dangerous the Pelicans can be in those short spurts where they hit 3's. One or two more real threats from behind the arc, without sacrificing much on the other end, would make them a legit play in team
A solid half from the Pels, but you see the cracks when their opponent doesn't miss all their 3's. If the defense protects the paint, it is vulnerable behind the arc, and if the opposition hits them at a normal rate, its hard for the non shooting Pels to keep up
Who needs washed up Myles Turner, when you have prime Myles Turner at home
