A fully mask off moment.
ALT "CEOs are extremely excited about the opportunities that AI brings," Elijah Clark, a chief executive who advises other head honchos on using AI at their companies, told Gizmodo in an interview. "As a CEO myself, I can tell you, I'm extremely excited about it. I've laid off employees myself because of AI." "AI doesn't go on strike. It doesn't ask for a pay raise," he added, parroting cliched talking points, much like a certain over-hyped technology. "These things that you don't have to deal with as a CEO."

If Bernie’s Social Security bill was enacted in 2021, Musk would have paid $2.9 billion more in taxes, Social Security would’ve been solvent for 75 years, benefits would’ve increased by $2,400 & 93% of Americans would have paid Zero more in taxes. The only one “entitled” is Musk.

PSA to all speedrunners - PLEASE download and upload all highlights to YouTube. Huge amounts of speedrunning history will be lost if we don't take action.
Even if you're under 100 hours, play it safe and download. It's 100 hours for now, but who knows in the future.
We’re implementing a 100 hr storage limit for Highlights & Uploads starting 4/19. This won’t apply to Past Broadcasts (VODs) or clips.
Less than 0.5% of streamers exceed 100hrs & this content accounts for <0.1% of hours watched. Users will be notified.

This was one of the most appalling stories I’ve ever looked into: A private equity termite rolled up the fire-truck manufacturing industry between 2016 and 2020—and has spent the last 5 years cashing in: doubling the price of fire apparatus, delaying order deliveries for years on end, and contributing to a crisis of preparedness at fire departments around the country.
So an insane story by @musharbash_b, a private equity roll-up of fire trucks is why more than half the fire trucks in Los Angeles were out of service during the catastrophic wildfires in the Palisades and Eaton.
