Google just launched Playground. You describe a game and it generates a playable 2D or 3D version. Then you can change the physics, characters, world and gameplay just by talking to it. It uses Gemini, Nano Banana and Lyria, with Unity integration coming next. AI game development is getting seriously interesting.

OpenAI just launched Dots. Always-on AI agents powered by GPT-6 Astra, each with its own cloud computer and access to 4,000+ apps. You can give them long-running tasks, check their work and interact through ChatGPT, Slack or Teams.

OpenAI just released GPT-6.1 Sol. They claim it approaches GPT-6 Astra on coding, computer use and complex workflows at just 1/5 of Astra's API price. Already rolling out in Codex, ChatGPT Work and GitHub Copilot.

Claude Sonnet 5.5 just dropped. Same $2/$10 pricing as Sonnet 5, but Anthropic says it’s 30%+ faster and up to 30% cheaper per task. The interesting part for coding: 70.6% on Terminal-Bench 4.0, above Opus 5.5’s reported 66.4%. Sonnet is getting uncomfortably close to flagship performance at half the token price.
