There seems to be an uncomfortable pattern of sidelining and undermining Luo voices within Linda Mwananchi by individuals entrusted with leadership in the movement. I received an audio recording of a meeting in which deeply troubling and undermining remarks were made. Soon afterwards, I alongside others, had been removed from various official groups with zero explanation. We cannot champion inclusion in public while practicing the exact opposite internally. This tendency deserves honest scrutiny!

Doctors working in Pakistan and India want to move to Ireland IMG doctors working in Ireland are looking to move to the UK. Doctors in the UK are moving to the Middle East, Canada & Australia. Doctors in Australia, the Middle East & Canada wish they had done USMLE & US fellowships to get better oppurtinures. Doctors working in the US have the highest rate of suicide among any profession which indicates the level of burnout & stress they face. The point of this post is Getting financial independence & better skills should be the main goal of junior doctors. Before Joining this race, remember there will always be a better place, dream or next level. Psychologically pushing you to do more which is fine. You will always feel there are other doctors in a better position than you. Don’t stop growing but also look for your mental health and your family.
