This is either a hot-take or painfully obvious:
Telling your agents what you want >>>>>> telling your agents what to do

I used to be a language lawyer. In the late 80s I _studied_ the ARM (Annotated Reference Manual for C++). I knew the language cold, inside and out. I could make it do backflips. I shipped a lot of code using it. A LOT.
I’ve attacked other languages with a similar intensity and depth. Until recently, that was simply the only way to become adept at building software systems.
I now consider the deep understanding of a language to be a supreme waste of time and effort. I don’t want to learn Rust, or Golang, or Typescript, or any of the thousands of other languages out there. I’ll leave that to my agents.
What I need now is to understand the high level gestalt of the system. I want to see the systems and subsystems. I don’t need to inspect the cogs. If I truly need to understand a detail at the cog level, I’ll interrogate my agents. I’m not going to pretend to be a language expert anymore.
Introducing @OpenDocketAI's election litigation tracker
With election day upon us and eyes on the polls, also keep an eye on the courts too. There's a lot of action, and finally a way to see it.
Each case in plain language: who filed it, what they're asking for, and what the court has decided, with links to the court record behind each step. opendocket.ai/topics/electio…
I built OpenDocket because I'm tired of co-reading court dockets with chat bots. Our legal system deserves a user interface.
Inspired by the work from folks like @chrisgeidner, @kyledcheney, @rparloff, @KlasfeldReports, and @scotus_wire
Connecting Grok Bot to T3 Code took some figuring out:
1. Enable T3 Connect on your machine
2. Open app.t3.codes in a browser
3. Settings → Environments → Your machine → Copy MCP URL
4. Give Grok Bot the URL and click Connect
5. Run `t3 pairing create` on your machine
6. Enter the code on the consent page and approve
The confusing bit: you need the WEB app to find your machine's MCP URL—even with T3 Connect already enabled in the desktop app.
Who else spend their football Sunday feeling inspired by all these TV projects?

Introducing buildnotes.
Point Claude at a feature. You get back a magazine quality bundle of content:
- A build story: how it was built, and why
- A technical deep dive: how it works inside, with fully drawn diagrams
- A release story: what's new, and how to try it
- A one-minute video cut from the post
Install it as an agent skill. Open source.
Am I missing something, or are they?
I spend majority of my time architecting & shaping high level implementation w/ my agents. Have them produce ARDs & decks to review & revise -- just like I would with a team.
Then yeah, I hit enter. But that the last 5% of the work.
“People are working 12 to 13 hours a day just to press enter.”
We are turning an entire generation of technical experts around the world into the equivalent of retirees pushing a button in front of casino slot machines.
Essentially the brain rot of doom scrolling social media is coming for your development team…
This will have lots of long run implications on companies. Most important of which, is that it will make existing moats even more brittle.
The value of automated software is not making the software faster.
It is understanding your intention and making the software BETTER.
Better edge.
Better design.
Better alpha.
But if you don’t slow down and map out your intention, you will just make your shitty code faster.
We built 8090’s Software Factory to do this: when execution is a costless commodity, what really matters?
Over time, companies will realize that it’s:
1. Intention
2. Governance
3. Verification
4. Evidence
This is what will separate orgs consuming tokens and companies encoding their edge. This generally requires top down leadership from the CEO to the CFO/CIO.
Bottoms up tool adoption only increases costs and accelerates slot machine behaviors.
Good luck to all the players.
You don't need to understand every line of code -- you need to understand what it's doing, and the direction the system is growing.
You don't need code to understand that. We present these ideas in many ways. Have your agents help with that.
