Okay, I'm a bit surprised to see that many people are still asking why XG is doing so many more stops in Japan, both in the first tour and most likely in the second one (though we probably won't be able to judge that until next year). Let me try to explain. XG, with the direction they've chosen for their development, practically doesn't make money from physical sales, which are extremely low. Digital sales have also long stopped bringing any significant profit for any artist. Merch and the app generate some income, but it's also pretty negligible considering the group's substantial operating expenses. The main way they earn money and without which XG would simply cease to exist — is through tours. And the vast majority of the profit from this tour comes from Japan. Unfortunately, XG is currently not capable of filling stadiums and big arenas anywhere except Japan. Maby in China, but we all know... Small arenas abroad go into the red, medium-sized ones bring only a small profit that can't even compare to what they make in Japan. We all want to live in a fantasy world where AVEX doesn't want their money back and doesn't care about making a profit, and rich alphaz and investors are pouring money like a river so that XG is set for the next 10 years. But unfortunately, that's not reality. And if they actually manage to sell out domes by the end of the tour, that would be fantastic for the group's future — not to mention the unforgettable experience it would give the members themselves. I'll end this with the hope that during the tour new locations will be added and that at least Latin America and Korea won't be left out. I think XG can pull off good venues there. And LATAM and K-alphaz more than earned their right to see XG in life show🇰🇷🇧🇷🙏.
