Deeply saddened by the tragedy at CFB Wainwright in Alberta.
My heartfelt condolences to the families of those who lost their lives. My thoughts are with the injured, the Canadian Armed Forces, first responders and the local community.

35 years ago today, Estonia 🇪🇪 restored its independence.
Under the determined leadership of then-Foreign Minister Lennart Meri, Estonia’s foreign service quickly expanded our presence around the world, helping re-establish Estonia’s place in the international community.
Over three decades of persistent diplomacy, dedicated public service, and strong partnerships around the world, Estonia has shown remarkable courage in turning the promise of independence into a lasting achievement.
Here’s to making a free and democratic Estonia shine around the world for generations to come.
Elagu Eesti!

Estonia joins Canada, the EU and 30 other countries in strongly condemning the use of the death penalty to silence dissent and intimidate those standing up for their rights.
We call on Iran to immediately end the use of the death penalty and release all those arbitrarily detained.

Over 45 UN missions joined 🇪🇪 and 🇰🇷roundtable on a multilateral response to cyber threats.
We need to take practical steps, strengthen political will & revive #cybersecurity discussions also at the #UNSC, which 🇪🇪🇰🇷 championed as elected members.
Vilnius provided an excellent opportunity to deepen the 3 Baltic 🇪🇪&🇱🇻&🇱🇹 ties in cybersecurity. @e_riik shares the same threats in cyberspace with @AizsardzibasMin and @Lithuanian_MoD it is vital to tackle these both on strategic and operational level!

Main issues: website disruptions, banking outages & phishing via fake Omniva/Telia messages.

It cannot be that Russia “accidently” violates three times in two weeks European air space.
Russia is testing European borders and probing our resolve.
It will continue to provoke as long as we allow it.
My statement at the @UN Security Council ↓

Last Friday, Russia violated Estonian airspace with three armed aircraft, just minutes’ flight time from our capital, Tallinn.
In my statement today at the @UN Security Council, I stressed that this violation of our sovereignty and the threat of the use of force concerns the entire international community.
This is not an isolated act, but part of a broader pattern of Russian provocations against its neighbours, while a permanent member of the Security Council continues its full-scale war of aggression against Ukraine.
As Russia has become a real threat to global peace and security, we must apply maximum collective pressure to compel it toward a just and lasting peace in Ukraine and to abandon its criminal neo-colonial and imperial ambitions.
