הריאיון עם יו"ר אגודת הסטודנטים של אוניברסיטת תל אביב אמור היה להתקיים באולפני התעמולה של הליכוד, ואנשי הקמפיין לחצו עליה לקבל את תנאיהם. "ניסו לשנות לי את המילים", היא מספרת. הריאיון תוכנן להצטלם בשעת לילה מאוחרת באולפני חברת התעמולה של הליכוד בפתח תקווה, ויועצי הקמפיין התנו את קיומו בכך שיקבלו את השאלות מראש. לאחר דין ודברים עם היועצים, שבע מתוך 17 השאלות שהוכנו נפסלו באופן מלא או חלקי, ויו"ר האגודה גל שינוטר עזבה את המקום מבלי לקיים את הריאיון.

Netanyahu has entered his familiar scorched-earth phase of the election campaign. First, warnings of war with Iran. Then, threats of financial collapse and banking sanctions. Now, an AI-generated mushroom cloud over Tel Aviv.
The message is clear: Vote for me or Israel will be destroyed.
This is fearmongering at its worst. But Israel existed before @Netanyahu and it will exist after him. And after October 7, Israelis should know better than to believe that any one politician has a monopoly on protecting this country.

The most important thing today is that Starlink and Starshield operations have been restored to the speeds we had before the restrictions. The speeds are now where they need to be. The restoration began overnight, and by this morning, speeds were already sufficient. This matters: for our frontline logistics, for defending Ukraine against jet-powered “shaheds.”

Quite the closing argument for Netanyahu to acknowledge his legacy is the end of US military aid and his re-election would mean sanctions, isolation and reliance on cryptocurrency. No illusions about opposition but they would at least try to avoid this future.
