Fans are running loud on my laptop as I give my AI agents all the VMs they need to perform live testing of complex RDP features like session redirection in an RD Gateway farm. This would have taken forever to test by hand

GitHub Agentic Workflows look great unless you absolutely need a Windows or macOS runner. It's hard to build an AI software factory for a Windows desktop app from a headless Linux runner. I had to switch to a regular GitHub Actions workflow that calls Copilot CLI 🤷
"Runners must be Linux with Docker support. macOS and Windows are not supported." github.github.com/gh-aw/refe…
If you have an Android phone and receive a lot of spam calls, I highly recommend you install PrefixBlocker (prefixblocker.com/). It works locally with simple prefix-based rules. I only use the phone for local calls anyway, and I just cut 80% of unsolicited calls so far
Is there something similar to GitHub Actions runners, but with quick suspend/resume, and more suitable for agentic workflows? I want to create an environment that matches the lifetime of an agent session that can go idle, and resume state when resuming the session

What’s the ONE question you’ve always wanted to ask Jeffrey Snover? 🤔
On November 14, PowerShell turns 20! 🎉
To celebrate, @jsnover, the inventor of PowerShell, and seven special guests from the PowerShell community are coming together for a 60-minute livestream.
20 Years Of PowerShell: One Idea That Changed IT Forever
We'll look back at the early days, share memorable stories from two decades of PowerShell, and explore what the future holds.
And of course, no PowerShell celebration would be complete without the community!

We're starting to see some agentic Rust forks (or alternative implementations) focused on iteration speed.
More-so than the specific projects, I'm interested in the ideas being explored (and how they could evolve upstream), so wanted to collate a few here...
What are your thoughts on Gemini 4 Argon? I've been using it for a day in GitHub Copilot, and it looks decent

@theo this PR will bring it from ~640s to 390s on the the free tier. The macos arm build takes you 344s so i think that is much more inline.

Anybody else feels like a side effect of AI is less desire for collaboration? The cost of waiting for pull requests to be merged upstream is so high when compared to writing your own thing from scratch. It's like people don't even bother looking for existing libraries anymore

Blogged: An introduction to Compact Binary Object Notation (CBOR) in .NET
andrewlock.net/an-introducti…
In this post I introduce CBOR as a JSON alternative, and show how to use the System.Formats.Cbor NuGet package to read and write CBOR encoded data
#dotnet #aspnetcore
It's so annoying that the GitHub Copilot app can only rename a branch for a session *once* - why is that?
I've been experimenting with PSObject binary encodings to replace CLIXML - CBOR and Protobuf are both great candidates, with significantly smaller size, but also much faster encoding and decoding performance! Which one would you like to be supported natively in PowerShell?
