Should be illegal. @StubHub (and @Ticketmaster and everyone else), should not be able to sell tickets unless the owner of those tickets has verified them. And once they are sold they should be transferred immediately - not on game day.
The sickening stories keeping coming in…😢😢😢 SHAME ON YOU, @StubHub. Imagine being a kid, a HUGE @Brewers fan, and finding out you’re going to see your team play in the WORLD SERIES! ⚾️💙💛 The excitement. The anticipation. The memories you’re already imagining making. Now imagine having that excitement ripped away because a company sold your 3 tickets that you bought, that they apparently can’t deliver. That’s exactly what we’re dealing with right now. We purchased THREE tickets to the Milwaukee Brewers World Series for Game 1 last Tuesday(13th) through StubHub. We selected our section, our row, paid for our tickets, and received our order confirmation. Everything was supposed to be set. Then suddenly, StubHub tells us they’re “searching for replacement options” because they can’t provide the tickets we purchased. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! How does a company accept someone’s hard earned money, confirm a purchase, and then turn around and say they can’t fulfill it?! And their solution? We can request a refund while they continue looking for tickets. THIS ISN’T ABOUT THE MONEY. It’s about the experience. It’s about the memories. It’s about the excitement of a kid, his dad, and grandpa, who thought they were going to watch their favorite baseball team play on the biggest stage in baseball. Look at the first picture. That’s the disappointment you’re creating, StubHub. A refund doesn’t replace that moment. And here’s what really bothers me… StubHub advertises a “FanProtect Guarantee” and tells customers their orders are “100% guaranteed.” Guaranteed WHAT, exactly?! Because from where we’re sitting, that guarantee doesn’t feel worth much when you can’t deliver the tickets you sold us. We did everything right. We purchased through a major ticket marketplace. We trusted the confirmation. We trusted the guarantee. Now it’s time for StubHub to make it right. We aren’t asking for anything extra. We want the three tickets we paid for, or comparable or better seats together, at no additional cost. Stubhub…DO BETTER. Please SHARE this. Not just for us, but for every fan who has trusted a ticket company with an experience that means so much more than the price of admission. ℹ️Brandon Barker

Did Trump just cut this ad for Dems??
TRUMP on HIGH GAS PRICES: We’re making money like we’ve never made before. They’ll say: President Trump is bragging about all the money they're making while people are suffering at the pump. I don’t give a damn. We’re making a freaking fortune.

All of this to say that Trent Grisham was the best center field option in all of baseball for the Yankees. If that’s the case, it says more about the Yankees management than any name I can come up with.
This is legitimately what *every* response you get on here whenever you mention Trent Grisham's QO. Here's is my full 6 point rebuttal to the people that want to crucify Cashman for Grisham. 1) Firstly, and genuine question, did the organization ACTUALLY know or think he was going to accept the offer? ESPN reported people were surprised he even accepted it. MLB Trade Rumors reported that him accepting it was unexpected. So obviously, there's on the topic of lending out the offer by itself, ALONE...we have a lot of reason to believe the Yankees were acting on good process in extending this out. 2) "Ok so if they were surprised he came back and were ok with letting him go, then that means they should've known he was going to suck this year/regress!" Was the chance that he ever reached his 2025 peak again this season ever that great? No lol, hence why he was offered the QO in the first place. And you will find very few people who ever thought he was going to repeat his season from last year. With that being said...how were the odds of him just being a contributing *good* player? I'd say pretty dam fucking good. 28 years old .811 OPS / 35 HRs Fantastic on base skills High Contact Good pull air / game power Fantastic underlying numbers This never gets talked about, but also finished off 2024 from July 1st with: 115 PAs .327 xwOBA 11.7 Barrel% 49.4% Hardhit And none of this came without actual mechanical changes that supported such a strong breadth of data/results. Starting in July 2024, he opened his stance up DRASTICALLY from where it was at before, widened his base, and maintained a different point of contact in his swing from that point on during his Yankee tenure. Did this all mean he was ever going to repeat his exact production? No...but was it a good indicator he would be productive through 2026? I think so. 3) Which brings me to my next point...We all (and rightfully, because they're a very well run organization) love to talk about how awesome the Rays are or the Brewers are for developing no-name guys out of nowhere; we saw a similar pattern with the Red Sox this season and it was met with broad appraisal from Yankees fans and frustration that we can't do the same. "Where's the Yankees' Matt Blake of hitting" Ok, so the Yankees did that here, got good production + process out of a player for 1.5 seasons, and now you're bagging on the very thing you rage about the Yankees not being able to accomplish. Not to mention, it's not like Trent Grisham was just completely garbage in all of the seasons before that? From 2019-2021 he had a .757 OPS through 242 games lol. He had two terrible 2022-2023 seasons with the Padres. And then there's the fact that even if he was bad all those seasons...that's a weak reason to think that means he's 100% going to revert back to little production. There's countless Yankees who took massive steps forward from their prior teams and were able to sustain being great players after their first year with the team. Paul O'Neill Luke Voit Cody Bellinger Scott Brosius Aaron Hicks gave the Yanks 3 good years Nick Swisher only had 2 good seasons before his time with the Yankees Again, that's IF Grish wasn't even a good player the entire time before he was with the Yankees which he was for 3 seasons. 4) Everyone, including myself, has SCREAMED from the roof tops for more guys who: - get on base - have good bat to ball skills Grisham came off a season with fantastic quality of contact data, great game power with a good feel for pulling balls in the air, AND both of those things to a very well above average degree. He played a good dynamic in the offense in 2025. On top of all other reasons lists, of course he was an "ok" option going into this season. 5) I absolutely despise having to act like really bad luck didn't play a factor into why Grisham was bad this year. He regressed in a lot of meaningful ways, luck aside, and was at fault for a dip in his production that fans expected. But he was not at fault for nearly leading the league in low overall BABIP, enormous gaps in his expected stats, some of the worst BABIP on hardhit balls, hardhit line drives, hardhit fly balls, 100 mph+ balls, etc.. in the league! "Well hit 'em where they aint" Ok first of all that's not possible to do to the degree you expect guys to be able to do at a professional number one, but number two he quite literally did go hard in the air the other way and found awful success in the instances when he did. His production under the hood and up front took TREMENDOUS dips after the weeks he was injured with his hamstring, which I also think factored into why his production dipped. 6) Lastly and most importantly....WHO WERE THE OTHER OPTIONS YOU PEOPLE WANTED?! Luis Robert Jr? Jasson Dominguez? Bellinger in CF? Brenton Doyle? Should the Yankees have made a move for another project like Tristan Peters — which would've gotten the GM crucified? I've yet to see a single person offer a good alternative to Grisham to start the season.

GROSS: Donald Trump’s super PAC is calling the family of Epstein victim Virginia Giuffre liars in a new mailer sent to voters in #co05. The family called out their congressman, Republican @jeffcrank, for refusing to meet with them and voting against releasing the Epstein files.

Donald Trump is now attacking an Epstein survivor’s family. That’s how low he’ll go to protect Jeff Crank, his most reliable supporter. Likely won’t be enough. @killinforco looks like she’s going to take it in #CO05. huffpost.com/entry/trump-sup…

Good ad. Jessica Killin’s record serving the nation and advocating for veterans is an excellent fit for the district - and too powerful for Jeff Crank’s misleading attacks.
El Paso County is the community that raised me and instilled in me the values of patriotism and servant leadership. It’s why I joined the Army and worked for over a decade at USAA to stand up for service members, veterans, and their families. The relentless, desperate attack ads launched against me disappointingly don't reflect the values we have here in the Pikes Peak Region. While Crank puts Trump first, I will always fight for our community and our country.

#CO05 is a district Trump won by 9%. For nearly 2 years, race raters and national observers said it could never be won by a Democrat. Now 2 weeks from Election Day, it's one of the most competitive races in the country. @killinforco has outworked Crank every step of the way.
Big news out of #CO05. @killinforco leading Jeff Crank. She’s out worked him this entire race and looks like she’s going to win this one.

That Trump inflation will get ya.
For @WashingtonSun: The DCCC has opened a $25M line of credit. "It will ensure we can finish the cycle strong and win the largest majority possible," the DCCC told me. "The amount is in line with how much we normally do, adjusted for Trump inflation." washingtonsun.com/campaigns/…

So let me make sure I have this right. Joe Girardi wins a World Series in 2009. Has a long tenure, and in 2017, with a young team with zero expectations, takes them to one win away from the World Series and essentially lost to a team who cheated. He gets fired after. Boone has been manager since. No World Series rings, playoff misses and multiple early exits….is still employed. This makes absolutely no sense.
